No, not my own homegrown tulips, but am loving these tulips I picked up from Trader Joe’s. I love having fresh flowers in the house; they make me happy and are so beautiful to look at. Something about them makes a home feel warm & inviting. Here are the tulips I had displayed on our table over Easter weekend in my newly crafted vases. The vases have found a home evenly spaced out over my black & white striped table runner sewn from fabric found here.
I since have replaced them with fresh tulips I picked up over the weekend. I just can’t get enough! I bought 2 dozen at $4.99 each and divided them up amongst the 3 vases. They last for 2 – 3 weeks and add a nice pop of color to the kitchen. I will probably switch it up next time and pick something completely different to fill the vases with. For now, this is what I am enjoying 🙂
I stumbled upon this article on Better Homes & Gardens and was amazed at how many different varieties of tulips are out there. I do not have a green thumb & do zero gardening, but we do plant flowers in large pots placed on the front porch, driveway and back deck. I am pretty good at watering them regularly, but that is the extent of skill level when it comes to growing anything of my own.
Check out the article here and I will leave you with a few beauties from the list.
