I have yet to find something, old & tattered or just plain ugly, that a little gold spray paint can’t fix. It is one of my favorite things to use to give something new life and of course, make it all blingy & glitzy. I dedicated my afternoon today to a few household duties, but was also determined to make some more progress finishing up the patio. Several weeks ago, I picked out some lanterns, a new rug and an end table to use in the space and had been waiting and waiting for everything to be delivered to the house. Once it did, I didn’t get around to opening up the packages and getting it all out for a couple of weeks. Well, when I opened up the table, I realized it was a dingy shade of green and not the black metal I thought I was getting. So, what did I do, you ask? Bust out the gold spray paint!

To that…
What do you think? Drab to fab?! I think it’s gold for the win, once again. The original shade of green didn’t seem to fit in well with the bright & fun shades of green in my pillows, so it had to go, in my opinion. I’m thinking this little gold tray table will be great for setting drinks on & maybe a lantern or 2. Sneak peak of my rug in the photos too… Slowly, but surely, this space will get DONE! One day at a time.
Here are a few of my favorite gold projects if you have missed them along the way.
