Mirror Mission Monday

Hi there!  Today, I am writing from warm & sunny Arizona 🙂 My parents and I flew down with the boys last night and are staying for a little over a week to relax and enjoy some 90 degree weather for bit longer this fall!

Since I have the remaining playroom projects in the works back home, I won’t be able to finish them and share them with you until next week or the following. I did actually finish up a quick labeling project for the playroom last week which is first on the docket of posts after we’re back home – a super cute & inexpensive organization tip that you could use in any room or closet in your home (not just a playroom or kids’ space!).

So to switch things up a bit, let’s chat about my family room for a second. I have been on the hunt for something to put on one of the main walls in this room for a little while now. I had a large bright-colored canvas up for the longest time, but slowly started to take all of the colors out of my decor in the room to make it more neutral. That piece of art no longer fit in the space anymore so it had to come down. Then, one day a few months ago, I threw together an eclectic gallery wall and thought it was really great at first.  After a little while, something about it just didn’t feel right. I wasn’t in love with how it looked, so it recently came down too.  So here we are, back at square one.

This brings me to…  the mirror mission.  I want to find a large decorative mirror for the wall to act as an anchor statement piece in the room so I have been on a mirror mission.

Decisions, decisions. I seem to be gravitating towards the “sunburst” mirror look. What do you think? Which one is your favorite? Maybe one of these will end up in our home or maybe I’ll find something unique down here in AZ & have it shipped home… We’ll see!
