Merriness, brightness & blissfulness is all around! All around our home & all over the blog this week! There is A LOT to share, so it will probably spill over into next week, too. I hope you are okay with loads of holiday inspiration coming directly from me to you!
First up, is the front door. You do see it right from the get-go, so I thought it only seemed fitting as the starting point for the tour. Right?!
I adore our front door. It may or may not have been the deciding factor when we bought this house back in 2012. We couldn’t help, but fall in love.
While decking the halls and everywhere else, I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to put alongside the front door. When my minted photo art pieces arrived, I knew they won the coveted spot!
I like black, white and gold to trickle throughout our home, room-by-room and before decorating for Christmas, the foyer was really lacking in that particular color (or lack thereof) department.
By hanging my gold foil-pressed photo art prints, it totally did the trick – classic black and white, with a subtle pop of gold glitz! Minted’s selection of photo gifts is pretty stellar. Add your pictures, personalize it, monogram it, glam it up! There are so many other options if the shiny foil detail isn’t your thing…but, seriously. Why would it not be your thing?!

Adding something a bit personal also seemed like a good idea, since its the very last thing visitors see before exiting our home.
I didn’t do a whole lot to the front door space, but I spruced it up a little with a simple poinsettia topiary to add a pop of red. Speaking of red, you’ll be seeing a lot of that color around here for Christmas. I love what it does to my neutral space!!
A little gold basket sits on the stool to toss gloves and hats in and of course, my Hunter Boots (affiliate) had to make an appearance. It just wouldn’t be right without them 😉
I’m slightly obsessed with this wreath I found at Homegoods. Its slightly funky with its spiky greens and the faux ice crystals look so pretty and actually, very real. The berries and bells are perfect pops of…yes, red.
I can’t even handle this picture of my little guys. Just HAD to include it when I was personalizing the Hand Sketched Trio piece by June Letters Studio. There is no way this photo wasn’t going to make the cut!
And for a sneak peak of another space all decked out…
I seriously can’t wait to share the rest of our merry, bright and blissful holiday home with you tomorrow when it’s my turn for the 12 days of Christmas Tour of Homes!! Wish me luck as I’m prepping to hit publish on my very first holiday home tour! Please come back and see!
