The decking has begun! It’s official. The Christmas decorating is in full-swing over here and today I’m sharing a sneak peek of our Christmas Home! I always scoop up after-season sale items to use the following year, but I usually can’t stop myself from grabbing a few new decor pieces just before or even while I’m spreading holiday cheer around the house. This year, I’m especially excited about a few new finds from Kirkland’s Christmasland collection. I decided to go quite neutral with my decor this time, at least in a few main areas and knew when I saw spotted some of their new holiday items [specifically the ones with a touch of metallic gold] they had to join the fun at my house!
You probably saw my new bar cart when I revealed our dining room last month. Since I had simply draped a piece of fabric on the front of the cart to serve as a “towel” I decided it needed a real one for the holidays.
Isn’t this pom-pom typography towel darling?
It is ivory with metallic gold lettering and is actually part of a set of 3! The other 2 are currently hanging on my oven door.
I’m a big, big fan of word art and with these towels and this super cozy throw pillow now a part of my holiday decor collection, I don’t have to limit the cute Christmas sayings and typography pieces strictly to the walls — the bar cart, kitchen and couch get to have some fun too!
Our living room couch isn’t the most plush, so by loading it up with a variety of pillows in all shapes, sizes and textures, it really cozies up the space. The “MERRY” pillow is perfect here front-and-center with its super soft sweater material and subtle gilded lettering.
Lounging here with a cup of hot cocoa and a catalog, listening to Christmas music is my idea of an afternoon well-spent. Right?!
What I love most about some of Kirkland’s new Christmasland decor pieces, is that they truly can be woven into any style. I opted for a few neutral pieces from Kirkland’s this year, but adding in pops of red this time of the year has always been my go-to style for the holidays! Like wouldn’t these red, green and gold cocktail glasses look great on the bar cart as well?!

Since I’m loving the neutrals this season, I’m tempted to swap out our stockings for these white & gold ones! And you know I love the bling, bling…wouldn’t these sequin photo frame ornaments jazz up the tree?!
Have you pulled out your holiday decor from storage yet? Or are you ready to upgrade and buy new?!
I did a little of both. 😉
December is going to be packed with more holiday decor and inspiration, so be sure to stay tuned!
