While tulips fill the house, snow has buried the toys in the back yard that the boys left out when it was 70 degrees less than 2 weeks ago!! Yeah, so Spring is NOWHERE to be found here in Chicagoland, but with a few simple spring touches our home is feeling warm, bright and well, spring-y! I didn’t do much decorating for the season this year, but I did spruce up the dining room, where the bar cart sits and I’m sharing that little part with you today! You’ll get to see the dining room table all dressed up for Spring in the next week or so 😉
Come have a look!! Be on the lookout for sources / shop-able images underneath some of the photos! You can use the arrows to scroll through the pics.

Confession…I didn’t change *that* much from the bar cart you saw during my Merry & Metallic Christmas living room tour. I mean…If it works, it works, right?!
With a few pieces swapped out and a sprinkle of fresh tulips on the top and bottom, I would say she’s looking pretty fresh 😉
These gold tapers were a clearance item from Z Gallerie and unfortunately, they don’t have them anymore!! If they ever come back in stock, I’ll be sure to let you know 😉
I pulled a lot of the orange, peach and pink out of the DIY framed fabric art pieces hanging on the wall in the dining room to bring in some bright colors. You’ll see quite a bit more of that later when I share the Spring tablescape.
A couple of succulents in a black and white striped IKEA dish and my aloe vera plant I have in a copper canister.
Don’t these tulips look fab in this little vintage brass piece?!
On top, I couldn’t help but bust out the pineapple gear! I got this pretty glass and gold pineapple decanter for Christmas so I filled it with cranberry juice to use as a mixer and of course the bright color looks great, too!
Cocktail glasses, wine glasses and champs and Rose to fill them up with!
I found this adorable octopus dish on clearance at HomeGoods for $4 and I think it adds just enough fun and quirkiness to the cart and of course, a little more black and gold never hurt anyone 😉
It was the perfect piece to hold the mini copper moscow mule mugs and my cute little copper jigger.
I know I’m reeeeallly not sharing much of a sneak peek of the table, but I will give you a taste of that on instagram soon!
Don’t forget to pin for later!
And one more thing…a little secret I’ve been keeping…we’re leaving for MAUI today, so if you want to follow along with our adventures, be sure to come hang out on instagram [I’m going to try to be more active with IG stories, so wish me luck with that!] and on Facebook, too!
We’re ditching the snow and trading it for some VERY spring-like, even summer-like temps! I have a feeling I’m going to get my fill of all the pineapple things there, too!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
