My Maternity Photoshoot with Baby #3

Hello to you all out there! These last few weeks of pregnancy have really turned my brain into mush. ha! I just remembered that I shared a few maternity photos with you in my 33 Week Bumpdate and promised to share a few more in another post. So today, that is what I’m doing! Last month at around 31 weeks, I rallied up the fam to meet our photographer, Robin at a nearby location to capture some sweet moments as a family before Baby #3 arrives. Here is a peek at My Maternity Photoshoot with Baby #3…

We started out in a wooded area which unfortunately wasn’t as green as we thought it would be in mid-May, but I love the photos nonetheless.

My heart melts when I think of these two BOTH as big brothers to their new little brother or sister. I cannot wait to see their reaction when the baby arrives.

Especially this little one. He is our wild child, but is really such a sweet soul when he chooses to be. His softer side has emerged little by little each day this whole pregnancy. He’s constantly hugging and touching my belly and over the last few weeks, has turned into a true mama’s boy. His world is about to change and he’s clinging to me for dear life. I get teary-eyed just thinking about him not being the baby anymore, but I know he is going to take the big brother role on like a champ.

Robin captured a few shots of me alone as well.

It’s hard to not be overly critical of your growing belly and changing body, but I’m embracing this body for the third time and know that these three guys love me no matter what size or shape I am now or a year from now. Just a little more to love, right?!

After all, I’m growing a human inside of me! It really is a magical thing.

Remember the blue wall? It was such a gorgeous, vibrant blue color and made for a fun and bold backdrop.

And another shot as a family of 4, I mean, 5! He or she is in there, after all.

We ended the shoot in an open field just the two of us. 

Notice all the top-of-my-head and forehead kissing?! Just our normal, everyday husband and wife pose. Ha!

But in all seriousness, this man is the most amazing husband, father and life partner I could ask for. He’s so incredibly supportive of anything and everything I do and has taken such wonderful care of me during pregnancy. And by wonderful care, I mean he brings me ice cream in bed at 9 pm or anything else my heart desires at that time of the day. As cheesy as it may sound, I know watching him become a dad again for the third time will make me fall in love with him all over again. Our littles are so lucky to have him as a role model and I know our soon-to-be little one will someday appreciate what a rock-star dad they truly have. He’s a keeper, for sure.

Today was a more personal post, but I appreciate you allowing me to share these moments and thoughts with you all every now and then because after all, this is our bliss.
