There is no denying my love for fresh flowers and while I love them year-round, Spring is the time when I love to sprinkle them around the house the most. Everything has been cold and dead outside and splashing a little color in a room always seems to bring some life inside. Injecting a new color into a space even subtly, is a way to transition your decor from to season to season. Pillows, blankets, art, candles or even just a vase of flowers can make a statement in a room and welcome in the new season. While any color will do, today I’m going to show you why Pink really is the best color to use for Spring.
As a mom of three boys, I haven’t been able to pink-ify any of their rooms. I created a neutral nursery for our 3rd little one and if he would have been a girl, I would’ve came home and splashed pink alllll over that room!! I just wouldn’t have been able to help myself! Spring and Summer are my other excuses to splash pink around here and there.
I thought it would be fun to share some inspiring Spring spaces all with one common theme – the color PINK! Hopefully you can gather some pink Spring decor ideas by reading the post below!
WHY PINK REALLY IS THE BEST COLOR TO USE FOR SPRING!
A couple years ago, I created a tablescape in our dining room around a runner filled with taper candles and vases of tulips. I initially spotted a slew of taper candles at the thrift store and thought the color palette was so soft and fresh for Spring. The light pinks and peachy colors on this table mixed with bold black, white and gray are such a great contrasting combo!

And sometimes, all you need to do is add a light pink floral pillow to the couch! Again, I love the softness paired with black and white. Pale pink tulips don’t hurt either 🙂
Blush & Bold Spring Living Room
I had never done any Spring sprucing in the bedroom until this year. After finding a pretty new duvet cover, I decided our bed was calling for it! After putting the duvet cover on a down comforter and folding it at the end of the bed, a couple new blush pink pillows was all that was left. Except for a vase of fresh tulips to enjoy, of course. I can’t ever pass up the $4.99 tulips at Trader Joes.
Flowers, flowers and more flowers! I added these fresh & faux flower arrangements on top of a floral “runner” on our dining room table for a bold look with lots of pink! I say “runner” because I used this DIY table runner hack to bring the table to life for only a few dollars.
A simple vase of pink flowers will undoubtedly put a smile on this girly-girl’s face! After a quick paint job on our old sofa table, a lamp from the basement, a dish of leopard Easter eggs, new free egg “art”, the only thing left to do was add a touch of pink!!
If you don’t feel like adding pink pillows or throws, why not let pink takeover your coffee table? How stunning is this table vignette?! Pretty pink flowers in a gold trophy bucket on top and then bold pops of pink are added in with the use of a few coffee table books on the shelves below. I think I need to add a few to my collection.
I have this book and this fun pink book would be another great option!

There is nothing more beautiful than hot pink tulips in a vase. So why not multiply it be three?! It doesn’t hurt to have this fabulous kitchen as a backdrop either! My friend Heather always shares her gorgeous and super simple ideas for decorating her kitchen island. This is one of my favs though!
You had me at blush pink!! I love how soft and serene this sitting area looks. Pop a couple of light pink decorative pillows and a blush throw on the sofa to recreate this in your own home. Do you spot that pink tray on the coffee table too?!

Gahhhhh! I am positive I need a pink rug somewhere, somehow in my life! Just add three pink items in a space and it will instantly scream Spring! And isn’t that pretty pink vase fabulous?!
