Casual Chic Style Vol. 2

It’s time for another volume of Casual Chic Style! I’m planning to share a new Casual Chic style post each month featuring simple and stylish pieces, showing you how to wear them with what you have [or share my recommendations if you’re in the market for some new staples]. These outfits are mean to be wearable, everyday outfits that can easily transition from day to night and carry you through the seasons. Here is a look at this month’s Casual Chic Style Vol. 2!

CASUAL CHIC STYLE OUTFIT IDEA #1

Black tops have always been the first thing I reach for in my closet, but have really started to branch out over the last couple years. When I wear green, I still feel like I’m in my comfort zone! This olive top has the prettiest lack neck detail with keyhole back and comes in 7 colors. There is a black option if you need a great dressy black top for only $16. I ordered a M/US 4 for a little more length, but a S/US 2 would still fit. A front tuck into your favorite jeans is perfect with this top.

I love wearing white jeans this time of year and this pair I picked up last year. I recently bought these high-waisted raw hem white ankle jeans and have already worn them three times in the last week!

If you are looking for a super fun and a little glitzy, inexpensive pair of statement sunglasses, these are it!

And as far as neutral, wear-with-anything earrings, these round rattan ones are so perfect for Spring and Summer. I first shared them in my Spring Break favorites post and for $11, you absolutely can’t go wrong!

Love gold, but don’t want to be too flashy?!

These gold sandals are such a great option because of their muted tone. I promise you will wear these with everything!!!

CASUAL CHIC STYLE OUTFIT IDEA #2

Part of the reason I started the casual chic series is because I am not an overly dressy person. I am a jeans kinda girl, but I do love to dress them up! It’s all about what you pair with your favorite denim. A simple top and flats with jeans work well for daytime. But if you swap your flats out for heels and throw a jacket on with some fun jewelry, you instantly have a chic outfit for girl’s night or date night.

These leopard heels are year-round staples and love how they dress up these boyfriend jeans.

As far as the jacket, I typically share this faux leather black jacket with gold detail which I love, but I’ve had this black moto jacket for 5 years now and they still sell the exact same one all these years later. It’s also a staple and I sized up one to a medium because you’ll always be wearing something underneath and I don’t want it to feel constricting.

You know I love an arm party, but layering your delicate necklaces is so on trend right now. I started with this dainty horn necklace [adjustable length, but I wear choker length], then added my favorite engravable gold bar necklace [I have all 3 boys initials on it separated by tiny hearts] and then finally our new coin necklace. I also love this gold coin necklace, too!

CASUAL CHIC STYLE OUTFIT IDEA #3

If you are in need of a new pair of black jeans, I can’t recommend these $28 high-waisted black skinny jeans enough! They are stretchy and the ankles aren’t overly tight. I wear them with everything. Here I’ve paired it with a blush tunic tank and leopard print sandals. This pair is from last year, but these animal print sandals and this pair also, are suuuch great alternatives!! They are probably my favorite sandals!

Hat, clutch, earrings and sunglasses and you are out the door! Day or night!

These darling black fringe earrings are a STEAL at only $3 and are really great quality. I’ve already gotten 3 or 4 wears out of them.

This striped clutch is another staple in my closet and why would it not be?! I love a stripe and the black and white coupled with tan perforated leather can be worn with absolutely everything!!

CASUAL CHIC STYLE OUTFIT IDEA #4

Calling all travelers!! This was basically my Spring Break travel outfit last week. I initially wore my black wedge sneakers to the airport and then had these sandals in for my carry on for when we arrived in Phoenix.

This camo tote is perfect for weekends, a plane bag, diaper bag or an everyday laptop bag! And obviously, the “oh hey vacay” t shirt is very appropriate to wear when heading to the sunshine!! Size up one in the shirt.

love, love these fringe earrings for Spring and Summer and if you’re looking for a go-to, easy-to-wear gold bracelet, this gold beaded wrap bracelet with dainty tassels is my fav! You can wear it alone or stacked with any of your other bracelets. It really is such a pretty one. I also love this $16 gold and crystal bangle. It also goes with everything and looks very high-end!

CASUAL CHIC STYLE OUTFIT IDEA #5

You might recognize this look from my last 5 ways post. I shared 5 ways to wear a graphic tank top this Spring featuring this adorable “be happy” tank! It is only $13 and can be dressed up or down. It has large arm openings so a sports bra, bralette or bandeau bra top look great underneath.

This black and white striped blouse is a great year-round staple, but especially in the transition time between seasons. Wear the blouse alone in the Fall, but then layer it under your sweaters in the Winter. I love it over this graphic tank top and tied up in the front. Size up if you want to try this!

These bold earrings are light as a feather and so fun for the warmer months a bright pop of color with any color!! These mules are casual enough to be worn anywhere because they’re flat, but dressy enough to take any outfit up a notch because of the silver stud detail! These black studded mules are another great option with less studs, but still statement detail!! And if you like a softer, more neutral look, these nude studded mules are so pretty. I love the raffia texture!
