Ready or not the school year is coming to an end! And that “last day of school” date on the calendar is looming! I’m preparing [mostly, mentally!] for Summer as a SAHM of 3 little guys and one thing I had to get checked off my list this month was to come up with Teacher gifts! I always scramble at the last second, but this year I sat down and came up with something early. Like weeks in advance! Today, I’m sharing a Simple Teacher Gift Idea with Free Printable Gift Tags in case you still need an end-of-the-year gift for your littles’ teachers, too!

The best part about this cute teacher gift is that you can grab everything you need at the grocery store or Target, so if you need something at the last minute, you’re covered! Grab these items for the teachers in your life and then print my tags and off the kids go to hand them over!
It’s as easy as that!
And don’t we all need easy right about now?!
*The link to download the gift tags is at the bottom of the post!
SIMPLE TEACHER GIFT IDEA WITH FREE PRINTABLE GIFT TAGS
I wanted to do something cute, but totally universal. Something that would work for all the teachers – no matter their age, personality or hobbies!
Popcorn and a movie of course!!
I’m a big fan of alll the varieties of Boom Chicka Pop popcorn and when I saw them in the Target grocery aisle and remembered how bright and colorful the bags are, I decided I was running with this idea!
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS SIMPLE TEACHER GIFT IDEA
We have quite a few teachers to buy for so I picked up several of each of these Boom Chicka Pop varieties:
- Sea Salt [yellow bag]
- Caramel & Cheddar Mix [teal bag]
- Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn [purple bag]
They also make Real Butter, Light Kettle Corn, Cheddar Cheese, Buttery Caramel, Milk Chocolaty Peanut Butter Flavored Kettle Corn and Dark Chocolaty Drizzle Sea Salt, flavors [with equally cute colors and packaging!] You guys can seriously add all of these bags to your online cart and click in-store pick-up, so all you have to do it walk in and grab them!!
I also found 12 packs available with Prime Shipping at an awesome price if you want to pick up a few extra to keep at home. I may or may not have just added that chocolate peanut butter one to my cart!!
Since the popcorn bags are only a few dollars, I wanted to include a movie gift card to go with it, so I purchased AMC gift cards to attach to the bag.
Other items I used to make this quick and easy End-of-year Teacher gift:
- AMC Movie gift card [next day delivery!]
- hot pink tulle [free delivery tomorrow!!]
- scissors
- white card stock paper
- hole punch
- my free printable Teacher gift Tags [download them below]
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING THIS SIMPLE TEACHER GIFT WITH THE FREE PRINTABLE TEACHER GIFT TAGS
First, download the PDF below to your computer and print it out on white cardstock paper [any thickness, just something thicker than regular printer paper].
In order to gain access to the PRINTABLE TEACHER GIFT TAGS, you’ll first need to Subscribe to the FREE This is our Bliss Resource Library by visiting this page here!
After you subscribe, you will need to download, print on thick cardstock, cut out and attach with ribbon or tulle!
And then all you need to do is add a handwritten note & your child’s name on the back!
1// DOWNLOAD
2 // PRINT & CUT-OUT
3 // HOLE PUNCH – Next, take a hole punch and punch a hole at the top just above the letter’s “n” & “k”.
4 // ATTACH WITH TULLE OR RIBBON – After that, grab your tulle and decide how much you’ll need to wrap around the bag of popcorn. I rolled out the tulle, laid the bag face down on the tulle and then wrapped it around the long way and short way to end up with the loose ends at the front. Tie a knot leaving 6 or 8 inches on each side.
Then, place your printable tag on top of the gift card line up the holes. Feed the tulle through both holes and tie in a double knot. I added a few additional short pieces of tulle to add more flare.
You can write your teacher’s and child’s name on the back of the gift tag or use a Sharpie and write on the top of the gift card packaging!
Your simple Teacher gift is ready to send off to school with your kids! You can totally pull this off the night before the last day of school. I promise.
Easy enough?!
We have 13 days left of Pre-K and First grade before our Summer begins, but our gifts are ready to go!!
Hang in there mamas, the May craze is almost over!!
Don’t forget to pin for later!
