My Favorite Amazon Purchases | Part 1

We all love a good Amazon find and there’s something so satisfying about needing something at the last minute and then it’s ability tp magically appearing on your doorstep in 24-48 hours! Right?! Plus, you can’t beat the prices, but the convenience is worth paying a little more. At least in my opinion. Especially with another little guy over here, packing up all 3 boys to go to Target or the grocery store just isn’t fun. Nope, not fun! Since I’m such an avid Amazon Primer, I thought it would be fun to start a new series where I share my My Favorite Amazon Purchases. Home decor, fashion, kid stuff and everything in between!

If you’re like me, then laying in bed at night involves some TV watching, book reading and A LOT of Prime shopping.

That last minute birthday gift for a classmate’s party this weekend. Prime it.

Honestly, its so easy to click, click, click, but my purchases are not always so frivolous either. A ton of items come out of necessity. A refill of this or an organizational item that benefits the whole family and helps my sanity.

My goal for this series is to share the cute, the helpful and the fun Amazon finds that I’ve purchased. I won’t share it unless I can vouch for it. In other words, it better be good!

MY FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASES PART 1

1 | LEOPARD JACKET WITH REMOVABLE HOOD 

I shared this jacket on stories last week and you guys went nuts for it! It was originally ringing up for $13 [when I bought it] but when I went to do the try-on for you, it had jumped to $23. For a wool blend leopard jacket with gold buttons and zipper detail plus a removable black sweatshirt hood, I say $23 is still a phenomenal price! Some of the sizes and colors are actually showing under $20 again and a couple for $12.22!! RUN!

Amazon pricing and prime eligibility fluctuates so much, so try to grab it now if you want it. There are two really cute gray options also. *I have my normal size small and it runs true to size.  2 | BAMBOO CHARGING STATION 

This was a game-changer, you guys! We have accumulated so many electronic devices over the years it’s not even funny. Now that the boys each received their own iPad for Christmas, I want to teach them to take care of it. Its a privilege to have them! We’ve designated the charging station as the spot they must return their iPad’s to when they are done. If they forget to plug them into the charger that’s inserted in the charging station, well they’ll learn pretty quick when they continue to reach for their iPad that’s dead. The boys have done pretty well so far. The middle is actually doing great with it! 

It holds 4 items so we keep the 2 iPads in the back 2 slots and then there is room for my iPad mini and / or either of our phones at night or on the weekends. Plus it has a holder on the front to hang one of our fitbits on. || Click here to shop the Bamboo Charging Station.

3 | ACRYLIC CANISTERS

We got these for our recent Laundry Room makeover and have the set of 3 sitting on a tray on the counter. I filled the large one with my oxiclean powder, the middle one holds my detergent pods and the other one has small clothespins in it for clipping clothing items to hang on our fold-down drying rack. They are great sizes and I love that they are not breakable glass canisters. I might be scooping up another set for the counter in the Basement Guest Bathroom.

They would be perfect for q-tips, cotton swabs and travel toiletry items that I like to stash in the drawers or a basket for guests to use when they stay! || Click here to shop the Acrylic canister set

4 | 16 PIECE BEAUTY BRUSH SET 

I wasn’t sure about this set for only $11, but it came and I love it! The brushes are super soft, wash well and look so pretty on the counter in my bathroom. I’m admittedly terrible about washing my makeup brushes regularly, but with these, I feel like I want to keep them looking good, buuut I also won’t feel bad if I toss them out after awhile because you get 16 of them for just over 10 bucks! 5 | FAUX FIDDLE LEAF FIG TREE 

Love, love, love this tree! I’ve seen a ton of people sharing this tree over the years and when I found myself with an empty corner in our entryway, I knew this was what I wanted to put in it. I ordered it and 2 days later it was here. After a little messing with the leaves, it looks great! Not only did I put it outside on my covered front porch for a few weeks at the beginning of Summer when I first styled the porch. But when I brought it back in, I created an entire gallery wall around it with black, white and gold frames.

Many of them from my collection of thrifted frames and many of them from the stairwell gallery wall I hung in our last house. Some of the same pictures are still in the frames and I definitely need to do some updating so that Winston makes it on the wall. But I love the tree in this corner surrounded by all the frames. 6 | ROSE GOLD TRAVEL DOCUMENT HOLDER

I finally got to put this stylish “file & fly” travel document holder to use when we traveled to and from Hilton Head this Summer. There are file slots with tabs inside for tickets, passport, documents receipts, and then a zipper pocket for cash or coins along with a spot in the front for your boarding passes. Now that we’re traveling as a family of 5, there are so many things to keep track of, its nice to not have things floating around loose in my carry-on bag or purse.

7 | OVER-SIZED ROUND SUNGLASSES [2 PAIR SET] 

I’ve raved about these all Summer! I ordered the set this Spring and have worn them non-stop. My set came with a black + gold pair and a tortoise + mirrored lens pair. But there is now a set that includes the black ones and a white version, but still both for $13.99. They are Tom Ford designer dupes and are really good. I always get compliments on them! You can’t go wrong with a cute pair of sunnies under $7. Especially with little ones in tow.

8 | HEY THERE, TAKE CARE RUG 

The perfect year-round, versatile front door rug right here! And perfect for layering! I have mine on top of this black and white striped outdoor rug on our front porch and love this look. 9 | BLACK & WHITE POLKA DOT MIDI DRESS 

I first shared this dress in the red version for the 4th of July, but then I noticed that the black and white version went on a flash sale for under $15 not too long ago so I snagged it. Plus, why didn’t I already have the black & white one to start with?! I’ve worn it with flat sandals and block heels, but am looking forward to pairing it with white sneakers and a jacket this Fall! It’s a dress you can wear casually or one you can dress up with heels!

I wore it to Tea at the Drake Hotel with my mom and sister this Summer. We made a day of it and did some rooftop hopping and this spaghetti strap A-line dress was a great Saturday afternoon look. || Click here to shop the Polka Dot Midi Dress.
