It’s a Wonderful Life Free Simple Christmas Art

Have a little nook or table that could use a simple Christmas touch?! How about a free Christmas art print you can pop into a frame to set out to enjoy this holiday season?! Since I’m all about celebrating these simple Christmas moments in our home this year, I decided to create something that would fit right in. Today, I’m sharing my It’s a Wonderful Life Free Simple Christmas Art.

Simple and elegant is the theme of our home this Christmas and when I created this art print, I wanted it to have the same look and feel.

A simple message…with elegant font…and held special meaning to me.

As a little girl, I remember settling in on the couch with my parents and sister on Christmas Eve after all the family left and turning on It’s a Wonderful Life. We might not have always caught it from the beginning, but we always flipped it on.

I fondly recall always having a full belly from grazing on yummy food all day and night plus too many of my Grandma’s Santa cookies. I always lost count after the first 3 😉

A roaring fire in the fireplace and praying that my mom and dad would forget that my sister and I were still up and not send us to bed until the movie was over. And if we were lucky, maybe even be able to catch the start of another movie before heading to our rooms to try to stay awake and wait up for Santa.

It’s a beautiful story and will always and forever remind me of Christmas Eve as a child.

And now you can have a sweet and simple Christmas art print of your own. Maybe it will stir up a little nostalgia for you, too!

This It’s a Wonderful Life print can be found in my printable library. Just scroll until you find it. If you are already an email subscriber you can access it in the printable library along with the Free Christmas Gift tags I offered earlier this season.

After you are in the library, all you need to do is right-click the image, download it to your computer and then print. I set my printer settings to either 5″x7″ or 8″x10″ [based on my frame] and “shrink to fit” on a standard 8.5″x11″ sized paper. I use heavy weight white cardstock when I print the art.

Next, decide what frame you want to use and then simply trace the glass or backing of your frame onto your printed paper, cut it out and pop it in. 

Hang it on the wall or set in on a table to create a simple “Christmas moment” in your own home!
