My Favorite Things to Buy at Trader Joe’s

Grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s always feels like a treat. I love perusing the aisles and finding hidden gems or referring back to favorite items others have recommended! I’ve been shopping at Trader Joe’s for many, many years now so thought it might be fun to share some my Trader Joe’s favorites! These are the items I’ve bought over and over again. And some that the kids can’t get enough of either! Today, I’m sharing My Favorite Things to Buy at Trader Joe’s .

MY FAVORITE THINGS TO BUY AT TRADER JOE’S

Since I’m always trying new things, I’ll definitely share an occasional Trader Joe’s “haul” with you. But the items today, are my tried-and-true, been-buying-them-forever-type-items.

MY TRADER JOE’S TRIED & TRUE FAVORITES

Like their Mandarin Orange Chicken…

Chili Lime Seasoning…

Everything But the Bagel Seasoning and “Hold the Cones” are just a few things we always have in the house!

You know, the ones you crave when you run out, so stocking up with multiples is a must!

You can usually find at least one of each of these items in my pantry, fridge or freezer at any given time. And since grocery shopping trips are few and far between right now, I will never take another “grocery run” for granted.

And TJ’s has done an amazing job during this trying time. I shared my shopping experience in this post and am so incredibly impressed with their care, concern and the safety measures put in place.

Just another reason I love Trader Joe’s so much!

TRADER JOE’S MEALS, CONDIMENTS, SIDES, SNACKS & MORE

• Mandarin Orange Chicken – I get actual cravings for this! I use about 50% of the orange sauce and then drizzle a little low sodium soy sauce and a sprinkle of Everything But the Bagel Seasoning on top – YUM!!
• Tempura Chicken w/ Sweet & Sour
• Chicken Lo Mein
• Turkey Meatballs
• Zucchini spirals – we cook the turkey meatballs and serve with pasta sauce over the spirals
• Carrot spirals
• Everything But the Bagel Seasoning – I put it on everything!!
• Chili Lime Seasoning blend – we use this on our margaritas for a little heat! [recipe coming tomorrow!]
• Coconut Almond Creamer – I’ve been using this with my French Vanilla creamer as I try to cut back on it
• Corn & Chili Tomato-less Salsa – this is so good with chips, on salads, eggs and so much more!

• Caramelized Onion dip – love this with pretzel crisps and my aunt says its delicious on burgers 😉
• Vegetable Root Chips
• Jalapeno Chicken Sausage – we cut this up and cook in our scrambled eggs
• BBQ pulled pork – the boys love this – I put it on sweet Hawaiian rolls for mini sandwiches for them & on salads for us
• Riced Cauliflower
• Cauliflower Pizza Crust – T and I use this when we do our Make Your Own Pizza Bar nights
• Broccoli pizza crust
• Organic Spicy Taco Sauce
• Jalapeno Sauce
• Salsa Verde
• Siracha Ranch

• Green Goddess Dressing
• Refried Black beans with Jalapeno peppers – I’ve substituted this in my Taco Cauliflower Rice bowls and it’s really good
• Vanilla Honey Yogurt – the granolas are a great topper for this 
• Sweet Potato Gnocchi 
• hydrangeas – love to buy my fresh flowers at TJ’s. You can’t beat the price & quality!
• fillers + eucalyptus stems – sometimes I don’t even buy flowers, because their fillers and green stems are gorgeous and only $2.99 per bunch

TRADER JOE’S SWEETS & TREATS

• Dark Chocolate Sea salt caramels – my weakness…true story – I used to keep these in my nightstand drawer and have one each night ha!
• Dark chocolate covered almonds
• Mini chocolate covered peanut butter cups – I used these on my Ultimate Dessert Charcuterie Board
• Vanilla Fudge Chip Ice Cream – wow this is yummy!
• Chocolate covered frozen bananas
• Cookie butter
• Cocoa Batons – we love these around the holidays for our hot cocoa bar 😉
• Peanut Butter Granola
• Almond Granola
• Chocolate Almond Granola cereal

TRADER JOE’S KIDS’ FAVORITES

*Although they eat a lot of the other items listed above, too!

• fruit cereal bars
• PB&J Bars – they’re obsessed
• Hold the Cone mini ice cream cones – so cute and the perfect treat [for mom & dad, too]
• Apple cinnamon sticks
• Jo Jo’s cookies
• White Cheddar Corn Puffs – like Pirate Booty, but a way bigger bag and only $1.99!
• Tater Tots
• Sweet Potato Frites – so easy to throw in the oven as a side for the boys
• Veggie Crisps

These are the items we buy time and time again, but I plan to share Trader Joe’s “hauls” as I discover more new delicious items! They also have the most amazing Pumpkin flavored items in the Fall. I realize you either love pumpkin or hate it, but if you love it, then Trader Joe’s is a must in September and October!

I’m obviously not grocery shopping as often as before, but you can bet I have my TJ list ready when it’s time to go next. It also doesn’t hurt that my Trader Joe’s is less than 5 minutes away. Or maybe it does hurt. I could spend alllll my time and money there!
