Walmart Haul || Closet Staples to Transition to Fall

Nothing gets me more excited than the thought of all things Fall, but especially Fall fashion. Jeans, booties and lots of layers! We all love adding new pieces into our closet this time of the year, but the pricetags can add up quickly. I love a good high-low mix and with the Nordstrom Anniversary sale going on right now, I will inevitably be making some purchases. But I thought it would be fun to share some SUPER affordable finds to mix into your closet as well! Today, I’m sharing a Transition to Fall Walmart Haul!

I’ve rounded up 8 items to help you transition your closet to Fall. You’ll be able to mix and match pieces to make various outfits and pull things you already own to style them as well. And with such great price points, you can even snag items in multiple colors!

WALMART FINDS

Walmart has really stepped up their game lately. So much that I dedicated an entire page on the blog with all my finds! From home, to fashion, to outdoor and more. You can check out all of my past Walmart Finds here.

If you haven’t shopped Walmart fashion before, give it a shot. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! They have some of the cutest kid clothes, too and there is no beating these prices!

Today, I have a $6 tee, a darling and versatile utility jacket under $20 and a $13 dress that is easily one of my top finds! I’ll be sharing all the details, including fit and sizing info for these items and more.

TRANSITION TO FALL WALMART HAUL

1 || 2 PACK THERMAL HENLEY

When I first saw this set, I knew I had to order it.

I was hoping they’d be cute, but in fact, they completely exceeded my expectations! It’s a set of Thermal henleys / waffle-knit tops – one in ivory and one in snake print which are both so good for Fall. They’re a great long-sleeved basic, with cute button detail and can be worn alone or topped with a jacket.

And at $13 for a 2 pack, you might need another color! 

Confession: I have the leopard & black set in my cart right now. Shocker 😉

Henley sizing: I’m in my normal size small, but might recommend sizing up one since they are a slim-fit. I think I’d prefer the fit of a medium personally, although the small wasn’t tight, just more fitted.

2 || BOYFRIEND JEANS

You can’t go wrong with a classic pair of Levi’s and I actually had no idea Walmart carried them! These are the boyfriend fit with distressing in the knees and a lightly frayed hem. They are a mid-rise straight leg and hit me right above the ankle. And I love the wash.

They are $59, but I snagged them on rollback and were $20 off!!

Jean sizing: They run TTS and I’m in size 27×27. I’m 5’4″ for reference.

3 || WHITE BOYFRIEND TEE

I typically buy a couple new white tees each year and this was a great addition! I still love the cuffed sleeve white pocket tee I picked up a few months ago, but you can always use a new one. Especially at $8 each. The fit is a little wider / boxier but still enough length to do a front tuck.

There are 8 colors available and and totally think stocking up on basic black tshirts is always a good idea, too. I’m also really loving the Toasted Brown version, too!

Tee sizing: Runs TTS and I’m in a size small.

4 || 3/4 SLEEVE LEOPARD KNIT DRESS

Ok, I am utterly and completely blown away by this dress! It is one of those throw-on-and-go kinds of dresses that are so easy to wear. And extremely comfortable! Not only is the color [and print] adorable, but it’s also flattering!

I cannot believe it is only $12.97! 

Oh and I almost forgot the dress mention it has POCKETS!

This leopard dress can easily be worn anywhere. Wear with sandals in late Summer / early Fall, casually wear it with sneakers during the day and then dress it up with a leather jacket and booties for date night or out with your girlfriends!

Dress sizing: I’m in a size small, but would consider sizing down to an XS. I knotted mine in the front for something different because I had some length to play with. If I wanted to do without the knot, I think an XS might be a slightly better fit for me. Its very stretchy and forgiving!

5 || UTILITY JACKET

Found this little number and couldn’t wait to share it with you! This green utility jacket is such a versatile piece and can be worn over almost any color! I have it on with black underneath, but the options are endless! white gray, tan, camo, hot pink, light pink, stripes, you name it!

It has buttons down the front and a drawstring around the waist, that when pulled tight, creates a little cinched ruffle in the back!

Super cute and only $19!

6 || BLACK MOCK NECK BODYSUIT

I love how sleek and fitted a bodysuit looks with jeans and I also love the look of a classic turtleneck. Marry the two and you get this bodysuit! Its really in between a full turtleneck and a mock neck style, in my opinion. Turtlenecks give off a chic and sophisticated vibe and I love that you can get that in bodysuit form! And under $20. 

It has a double snap button closure and is great to wear alone or with a jacket or cardigan!

Bodysuit sizing: Runs TTS and I’m in a size small. I would suggest sizing up if you have a long torso.

7 || LIGHTWEIGHT CARDIGAN

Cardigans are a closet staple Fall through Spring! Layer them over your tanks, camis, graphic tees and more. This one is super lightweight with fine stitch ribbing. 

I’m obsessed with the long length and it’s under $30!  Comes in 8 colors! 

The Sienna & Chartreuse are so pretty, too!

8 || CHEETAH HEEL SLIDES

I love a good animal print and shoes are no exception. These block heel open toe slides are darling and a perfect transition to Fall shoe! Only $19 😉 Leopard is a neutral so they’ll work with everything!

Heel sizing: I’d say the run TTS. I’m in a size 7.5. For reference, I wear between a 7.5 and 8 and have a narrow foot.
