Hooray, hooray! Our favorite day is here! This week has passed in the blink of an eye, although it was one that I wanted to really slooowww down. The big boys start their school year virtually on Monday, so this was our official last week of Summer! Lots of pool time, family walks and a yummy breakfast out just before device and supply pick-up at the school. Today, we’ll be zooming with new classmates and teachers for get-to-know you meetings and then the weekend is here! Chatting about some tidbits from the week in The Friday Five today!

Here we are celebrating the end of Summer over pancakes and omelettes the size of our head at a new breakfast joint, Buttermilk. We all give it 2 thumbs up!
One last leisurely morning out before we are back to the grind of school next week. Wish these boys [actually all of us 😉] luck!

As a Stella & Dot stylist, I’m always going to share and support S&D products, but I do love and wear other jewelry! Two brands I’ve always been drawn to are Gorjana and Ettika. Both have delicate, edgy jewelry lines that are great for everyday wear. And since I love to stack my bracelets and layer my necklaces, I say the more the merrier when it comes to finding jewelry brands to shop!

Nail inspo—> I love seeing new and fun nail designs after Brooke & Meggan from Somewhere Lately get a manicure and have always wanted to try the “Dot Mani” after seeing theirs, so I finally did it. I went with a nude / beige base and a simple black dot at the bottom of my nail for a twist on a basic manicure. I have to say I love it! It’s subtle, but unique. Glitter is usually my go-to when I want to add a little something.
Why not have fun with your nails?! Its only temporary!
BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER DIP FROM ALDI
This stuff is so amazing! Ted is the Aldi shopper in our house [he just loves it like I love Trader Joe’s ;)] and does tend to find really unique and yummy things for us to try! We have a brand new Aldi location right by our house and we pop in every 3-4 weeks.
We are both obsessed with the Buffalo Cauliflower dip. It’s great with crackers, pretzels and veggies!

I know the Nordstrom sale might seem like old news, but I know some of you are still shopping it! There are some really great items still in stock and available. Some I’d even consider to be the *hidden gems* of the sale that were overlooked and not shared by influencers as much. I’ll be popping in to share some more of my faves and finds this weekend. The sale officially ends on Monday, 8/31 and prices will go up.
I’m so smitten with these booties, I actually dedicated a whole post to them!
The sneakers [size down], cardigan [have xs] and satin joggers [size small] are fab and I have to try on the rest since I just got another delivery yesterday! I’m still waiting on my OTK boots to get here.

As I mentioned above, we will virtually be starting our school year on Monday and the boys are pumped. We have several class meetings today and one-one-one zooms with their teachers. Here we come 1st and 3rd grade. These boys are ready for you!
