MEN’S GIFT GUIDE 2020 : THE DETAILS
*I’ll be back to update this section soon!
Northface jacket // a great slim, packable jacket. Has ThermoBall™ Eco technology insulation for warmth even when wet. 40% off and comes in 4 colors. And did you know Northface has a lifetime guarantee on their products?!
quilted camo vest // Stylish and sporty. He loves this brand of menswear. A great neutral layering piece for Midwest weather.
tech gloves // A nice pair of gloves that he can wear while using his phone or or other smart device.
Ted says Bushnell rangefinders are the best! Accurate to 1 yard and can read up to 400 yards. Grab this nice gift for your golf loving guy. Do you have any in your life?!
leather duffel bag // Ted received a nice leather duffel last year for Christmas and it was such a nice upgrade from his old vinyl gym bag ha! A great looking bag that is great for a weekend bag, but especially nice for work trips.
I gifted this to Ted almost a decade ago and it is still one of his most notable gifts. How funny! Its a gourmet bacon sampler pack from Loveless Cafe in Nashville. Highly recommend trying something like this out for the hard-to-buy-for-guy. He probably isn’t going to be shipping himself bacon from Tennessee on his own anytime soon. But I guess you never know!
sphere ice molds // We’ve had these sphere ice molds for years and years! We’ve tried other “whiskey balls” and cube trays, but these have been our favorite. We’ve gifted them to both of our Dads and his brothers in the past. Super cool looking and a slow melt which is great for all your cocktails and sippers.
“beer can” glass // A go-to beer glass in our house! These 16 oz glasses are shaped like an actual beer can and can be put in the freezer to use as a frosty mug, too. Great gift idea for anyone and under $5. Comes in a larger size, too.
Kamado Joe Classic Charcoal Grill //
My dad has this grill and we’ve had some of the best pork on it! it’s a splurge but it is pretty incredible. It’s a kamado-style ceramic charcoal barbecue cooker and the food comes out tasting like no other grill! There are different sizes and styles, but this is the classic one. Very similar to a Big Green Egg if you’ve ever heard of that brand.
toiletry bag //
An updated toiletry bag for travel! This one has multi-pockets and storage locations for all of his bathroom and grooming essentials. Under $25 and comes in several colors.
golf balls // The best of the best! Titleist Pro V1’s are T’s favorite balls to hit and this price is the lowest they go! You can’t go wrong with a sleeve or box of new balls!
electronic cigar humidor // Ok, the picture above might look a little intense. It is a big humidor, but very cool! We have one of these in our laundry room under the counter next to my wine fridge. It would be great for a man-cave or basement bar area for any cigar lovers in your life.
dress shirt // Sometimes they just need to update their “nice clothes” section. Whether for business or casual, T loves these shirts. It’s a lightweight shirt with moisture-wicking fabric for comfort. He loves the stretch of it, too. It says it has 4-way stretch so that must be good ha! Tons of colors and prints to choose from.
sport stainless steel watch // This isn’t T’s exact watch, but out of all his watches, his stainless steel [gunmetal / pewter colored one] is his favorite! It looks great with everything and is super sharp. This one is on major sale right now, too!
ankle no show socks // A fav sock! I really like Bombas women socks as well. Very comfy!
30 oz YETI rambler // We have quite a few types and sizes of YETI’s, but he always reaches for this one the most. We have a black one and a silver one and the handle is a must!! Great for hot or cold beverages.
smart speaker // A portable smart speaker that is SIRI enabled. Meant to be used on adventures – to get wet, muddy and snowy and still work! Connects with an app on your phone. This is on T’s wish list 😉
waterproof boots // SOREL boots are a great brand for winter weather which we know a lot about here in Chicago. This stylish boot can be worn as a casual shoe or an all-weather boot. Love the color and these are on sale right now.
SO cool! We couldn’t believe all the things this tool can do! Great stocking stuffer!
electric drill set // This is the drill we’ve had for several years. There are various bundles you can purchase with additional tools, chargers, etc. but this is a great one to start with if you’re not sure what types of tools he has or needs. This will come in so handy around the house. Great gift for a new homeowner or a new dad 😉
A pair of sneakers you can wear when you want to be comfortable but up a notch from your workout or running sneakers and they look great with jeans or slacks. He has several pairs of these Cole Haans in various colors, but the Grand Pro sneaker is an all-around great one!
running shoes // These are at the top of T’s list this year 🙂
slippers // he might not admit it, but a pair of UGG slippers just might be what he loves the most! Super comfy and cozy! Ted likes the backless ones the best, but the moccasin style are very popular, too.
