Another beautiful week away! We are soaking in our last day of fun in the sun before the reality of freezing temps and lots of snow sets in. Winter weather officially hit the Midwest in a big way this week and we’ve realized we can’t escape it forever. All good things must come to an end! BUT, the weekend is here and that’s worth celebrating, plus I’ve got some goodies to share in today’s The Friday Five!

ONE // LAYER UP WITH A [FAUX] LEATHER JACKET
One of my favorite ways to finish off a look is by topping off my outfit with a leather jacket. It’s the perfect layering piece for an instantly chic and edgy look.
When traveling, I always pack a denim jacket, faux leather jacket and a couple of cardigans. They are easy to throw on and go, plus make me feel more pulled together when I have a top layer.
A faux leather jacket pairs well with any top and bottoms! Jeans, joggers, leggings, skirts and dresses – you name it!

TWO // COOKIES FOR A CAUSE
I recently had the opportunity to sample the most delicious cookies! These sweet & fluffy cookie creations, Bambinos, are SO cute and taste incredible!
They are locally made in my hometown of Waterloo, IA by cookie creator, Donna O’Brien. She is a Breast Cancer survivor who began baking cookies after she underwent a double mastectomy, six months of chemotherapy and reconstructive surgery. Donna decided she ultimately wanted to turn her passion into a mission to help others who were facing the same struggles she did along her journey.
Bambinos was born and the “lighter than air” cookie became a huge hit! Donna now ships nationwide and donates a portion of Bambinos’ sales to the Beyond Pink TEAM, a nonprofit organization providing support and education for breast cancer patients in the Cedar Valley and advocates for breast cancer research.
Not only do these cookies look and taste divine, but the packaging is unique and the presentation is remarkable. These petite cookies come individually packaged in these darling little clear domes with a gold base.
What a sweet treat for weddings, showers, parties or just everyday celebrations at home!

THREE // SUNSCREEN WITH A SHIMMER
A sunscreen that leaves the prettiest shimmer on your skin! I tried this Glow Sunscreen while in Arizona and absolutely love how it looks and feels, plus it comes in SPF 15, 30 or 50.
I’ll be rounding up some of my favorite Vacation finds in the next couple of weeks and this sunscreen is definitely going on the list! I shared these Vacation finds last year, but have a ton of new goodies to include now.
FOUR // CROWD-PLEASING CORN DIP
For those of you working on your Super Bowl Sunday menu, I’ve got the perfect dip for you! I’ve shared this corn dip a ton, but since it is allllways a hit, I thought I’d re-share it again before the big game.
I mean, the Super Bowl is really about the commercials and food anyway, right?!
