Hello, friends! I’m so glad you’re here today! Spring is making it’s way through the house and the Family Room is where I typically start decorating. Specifically the mantel since that’s what we stare at while watching TV. Someday I hope to be able to hang a beautiful mirror or piece of art above the mantel, but for now, I decorate around it! Today I’m sharing our Simply Chic Mantel Décor and joining several other ladies styling their mantels for Spring, too!
I’ve teamed up with Krista of the Happy Housie and 17 other bloggers for another Seasonal Simplicity Spring Series to help inspire your decorating this season! Whether you’re sprucing up your mantel or just want to spice up a little nook in your home, I know you’ll be able to find something you love among us all!
Be sure to check out all the other decorating ideas at the bottom of the post.

A SIMPLY CHIC SPRING MANTEL
I don’t venture too far from my neutral styling with minimal pops of color. If you’ve been around here long enough, you know I love bringing in gold objects for warmth and a hint of glam. This gold orb is timeless!
SPRING MANTEL DECORATING IDEA: COFFEE TABLE BOOKS
A stack of books always seem to find their way up here, too. Coffee table books are one of my absolute favorite things to decorate with. They can be used on every single surface in your home to add interest, height and dimension.
The titles, colors and textures of the books can really make a statement. These Garden & décor books are my favorite to use in Spring and Summer. I thrifted the top and bottom one and you can find the gold “Styled” book here!
I think I splashed some water on my TV screen when I placed the vase of fresh hydrangeas there. You can also see a peek of the clear command hooks I leave up year-round for our stockings at Christmas. #reallife I didn’t bother to edit them out!
SPRING MANTEL DECORATING IDEA: FLORAL ART
This floral print has been around here since we gave our Dining Room a makeover for my first One Room Challenge in this house.
I love how the black and white floral art has made it’s way from the Dining Room to the Laundry Room and just recently, I plucked it off the wall to stick here. The other floral art print originally in the Dining Room is now on my nightstand!
I was surprised to find these clear crystal candlesticks in my stash because I completely forgot about them! They’re from Anthropologie and I love how unique they are!
SPRING MANTEL DECORATING IDEA: FRESH FLOWERS
Fresh flowers from Trader Joes are always my go-to any time of the year! The prices are fabulous and they really last.
You’ll be seeing more pops of this lovely lavender color in my Full Spring Home Tour going live this Friday. I hope you found a few tidbits of inspiration from my Spring mantel today!
This week I’m joining some of my talented blogging friends for the Spring Seasonal Simplicity Series! We’re all sharing some inspiring mantel decorating ideas with you! You can see each mantel in more detail by clicking on the links below each image.
