I will forever and always be a jeans girl but sometimes its nice to switch things up a bit. It so easy to reach for your favorite jeans or classic black denim, but today on the blog I want to share a pair of high-rise paperbag waist pants I recently purchased and love. They are the perfect rich tan color [and thankfully] pairs perfectly with black! Here is how I styled The Perfect Paperbag Waist Pants Under $30!
And even better, the whole look is affordable. I’m wearing head-to-toe Target and I truly feel each piece is a closet staple.
These slimming paperbag waist pants can be dressed up with heels for date night, girls night out or work. You can also throw on a sandal and a tank for a more laidback casual vibe. A hat and a straw bag would complete your Spring look.

The pants are a golden tan color [they’re called brown on the site] and I love that they are such a great neutral and pair back with classic black and white so well. This would also be a fun color to style a monochromatic outfit with. A lighter tan or deeper brown colored top would work well.

And yay for a dressy pant that is so comfortable! The material is lightweight with a little give. A paperbag pant is a high-waisted pant that ties and has material coming out of the top when cinched – like a tied paperbag. Since there is a lot going on with the waistline [ruched detail and a front tie], I recommend wearing a simple top. And a fitted one [or a bodysuit] that can be tucked in is best to really be able to show off the flattering details around your waist!
These pants remind me of the Target pants I styled last Fall, but were a little bit more of structured material. [see my Target Haul part 1 & part 2]

This is a crew neck tank I grabbed in black and white for only $5. It is a basic black tank I know I will throw on all the time. Gotta love a great Target find 😉 I’m wearing a size small in it.

These pants also have pockets and are a great ankle length. I’ve actually seen them slightly cuffed so you can do that if they are a little long on you. I always love showing some ankle, especially with a heel. It’s a very flattering look!
What I love about these pants is that they look great with any heel height – flats, sandals, block or high. These block heels are a great designer dupe and have that beautiful trendy braided look. Under $30 and an amazingly comfy heel height. I’m in a 7.5 and would say they are tts [I’m a 7.5/8 with a very narrow foot.]
You can also throw on a faux leather or denim jacket for cooler nights. I think these pants are such a great option and could be worked into your wardrobe year-round. They also come in several other colors and I’ve linked them below.
