Who doesn’t love a themed board?! We all know I do đ I put together this Patriotic Red, White & Blue Snack Board over Memorial Day Weekend, so thought I’d share in case you’re browsing for ideas for the 4th of July entertaining! This darling red, white and blue board was a huge hit with both the kids and adults! We all grazed off this snack platter and cleared it before before dinner! Read on to see what I used and how I created it…

This kid-friendly Red, White & Blue Board was piled high with treats and snacks perfect to munch on at a cookout or Summer party. There are so many options for things to use and I always love just strolling the aisles at the grocery store to see what I can come up with!
RED, WHITE & BLUE SNACK BOARD
Candy, fruit and cookies are a just a few favorites on this snack platter. A friend of mine was bring over a fruit salad, so I actually didn’t add many fruits – just blueberries, watermelon and cherries.
Strawberries, raspberries, apples and bananas are all great ideas if you want to stick more fruit in the mix!
WHAT I USED ON MY RED, WHITE & BLUE SNACK BOARD:
- blue & red [with yellow cream filling] cookies
- frosted sugar cookies with red, white & blue sprinkles
- dried blueberries
- yogurt raisins
- red licorice nibs
- Swedish Fish
- red, white and blue jelly bellies
- mini marshmallows
- mini powdered donuts
- watermelon
- blueberries
- cherries
*All items are from Mariano’s
I started with my empty board and then followed the same steps that I shared in this St. Patrick’s Day board post. Start with an item and put it down in small groups scattered across the board – I usually do 3 or 5 little clumps! And build it from there.
I actually bought blue corn tortilla chips to put on the board with my Boursin & jam appetizer, but forgot! So I did throw some white cheddar cheese curds on the board before I realized it was the only savory item. The rest were all sweet!!
No one seemed to mind though đ
These red, white and blue goodies disappeared in a flash! And we still had birthday cupcakes to eat after dinner.
What I love most about these *charcuterie boards* is that anything goes! Mix and match sweet and salty items and create a unique and one-of-a-kind board every time! These platters are SO much fun to put together. I highly recommend throwing some stuff on a board and see what happens!
I typically use this rectangle board with gold handles or my round lazy Susan for creating them. I’ll link a few options below if you’re interested!
I have a ton of patriotic themed ideas for hosting, so if you need some for yourself, head here!
