Today is my first official tour in the new house [aside from the empty house tour I shared with you in August]! Except I can’t exactly claim it to be a true tour. I have zero fully finished spaces after moving in this Summer, but I have sprinkled some Fall throughout the house. So that is what I’ll be showing you today! I snagged some darling Fall décor at Target & Amazon this season after purging a large percentage of my old stash before we moved. Come on in and take a peek at my Early Fall Home Tour 2021!
And I say early because at 108°, it doesn’t exactly feel like Fall is in the air yet down here. We are still adjusting to this heat!
I’ll slowly be setting out more pumpkins & Fall stems, but for now, I’m going for cozy neutrals and lots of texture to prepare for the beautiful late Fall weather. Come on, mid-October!
I’m joining 29 other bloggers this week as we all share bits & pieces of our home decorated for Fall. A big thank you to Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life for inviting me and organizing the tour! Be sure to stick around until the end to view everyone’s beautiful homes!

If you’re coming over from my bestie, Heather @ Southern State of Mind‘s home then I’m sure you’re still crushing on her gorgeous front porch and lovely home. Its as beautiful in-person as it is in the photos, I assure you! It’s welcoming and filled with such pretty, unique pieces and the best fresh flowers [usually straight from her incredible backyard ;)]. Definitely one you don’t want to miss!
EARLY FALL HOME TOUR 2021
Since our front entryway is pretty bare and the Living Room & Dining Room aren’t fully furnished [and you’d be able to spy a moving box or two still laying around!], let’s start at the back of the house! Since our pool has been our most “lived in” space over the last 2 months anyways, this makes perfect sense!
THE BACKYARD + BACK PATIO
We knew while house-hunting that a pool and a great backyard space was at the top of the list. While we don’t have any grass, we live next door to a park with basketball hoops, playground and lots of open land in the greenbelt.
What we do have is a great pool, hot tub and a couple lounge areas for hanging out or having a meal together.
At least that’s the plan when the temps go down a bit!
We sold all of our old patio furniture so this is all new with the exception of the rug and pillows. As far as cozying this space up, I brought in a woven side table, citronella candles and a couple of throw blankets.
And these flowering trees I found at Home Depot have the prettiest little berries on them. I thought they were so pretty for Fall!
And if you missed the fireplace peeping in the corner up above, just know we can’t wait to sit out here come October. I’ll be here with my coffee & wine all Fall & Winter!
I’m on the hunt for some furniture for the fireplace area and we hope to refresh the space a bit too. Nothing in the works yet and I haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for, but I promise it will be shared on the blog when I do!
THE FAMILY ROOM & KITCHEN
As we make our way indoors, you’ll see our Family Room & Kitchen is one large space perfect for spending time together as a Family and entertaining.
blanket // pillow // leopard throw // ribbed vase
Rich neutral pillows, a new chunky knit throw blanket and a fall-ish coffee table vignette are the highlights here for the season!
book // matches // pumpkin // vase [with candle inside]
This kitchen is eventually going to change quite a bit. I’ve got big plans for it, so stay tuned!
I added a portion of the new dried pampas grass to a vase on the kitchen table and the rest I’ll show you where I put the rest in a minute. 😉
Love our new hub. Its wide open with a great view to the pool! We can all still pile up and snuggle on the couch in here!
This bar cabinet was a recent Homegoods find. It’s the perfect size for this wall and a great spot to decorate!
The texture is awesome and I was so smitten to be able to add this lamp on top. It was the only one on clearance! I’m pretty sure I passed by it on at least 3 different shopping trips.
After bringing the bar cabinet home, I couldn’t stop obsessing over the idea of the lamp sitting on top, so I went back and it was miraculously still there.
How, I’m not quite sure!
OUR BEDROOM DRESSED FOR FALL
And while I don’t normally decorate our bedroom for Fall [with the exception of swapping out a few throw pillows], I was so excited to style our new dresser that I just couldn’t help myself!
Especially when I scored these gorgeous new Fall finds at such great prices! You can see all of my Fall Amazon Finds here and I raved about my favorites from Target’s new Fall collection in this post.
tray // faux grass // studded vase [similar] beaded tassel garland // candle // metal star // dresser
I know this wasn’t the most grand tour of all time, but I promise to be able to share more spaces and projects as we continue to get settled into our new home. I’ve got a few big projects coming up and I know this house is going to be constantly evolving over the next 6-12 months.
But for now, I’m going to enjoy all of my simple Fall touches and pray for some Fall weather to go along with it!
Now be sure to head to Cuckoo4Design‘s gorgeous tour next! The rest of the ladies’ homes are listed there, too, so you can pop around!
Thanks for being here 😉

September 14, 2021 at 9:28 AMEverything is looking amazing so far. It’s always so hard to settle a new house and then to try to decorate too. Your familyroom and kitchen area look so comfy and inviting. Thanks for joining the tour again this season, I look forward to seeing how your home progresses through the upcoming year.
