The Friday Five

Hello out there! I hope you had a great week! I’m popping in with a quick Friday Five to share some of the latest happenings around here and some new finds and faves!

If you’ve missed any past posts in the Friday Five series you can get caught up here.

THE FRIDAY FIVE

ONE // THE BEST $25 JEANS

Gosh, these are good! I recently ordered these Super high-rise straight-leg jeans from Target’s Wild Fable line to try and they did not disappoint! They are lightweight but not too thin, still giving a nice structured leg. I love that these jeans are long enough to wear with heels but look equally as cute cuffed up.

They were recently 30% off, so I’ll keep you posted if I see them go on sale again!

I’m wearing a size 6, but probably could’ve sized down to a 4. I have a feeling these will stretch a bit with wear so I plan to wash & dry them.

Also, I found this woven purse marked down from $79 to $26! I’ve had it for a couple years and its such a great go-to. The woven / quilted purse trend isn’t going anywhere this season!

TWO // MAKE THESE DONUTS IN 5 MINUTES

The boys and I had the best time making these “homemade” donuts last weekend! I saw someone make them in a TiKTok video or Instagram reel and was like “hey! I can do this!!”

Take 1 can of Grands biscuits and cut out the center of each biscuit with a small children’s Tylenol measuring cup. Add to air fryer at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. When they’re done, dip the donuts in a bowl of melted butter, then dip in a bowl of cinnamon & sugar. That’s it!

We also drizzled caramel sauce over the top at the end for extra yumminess!

I’ve seen others add a glaze or frosting instead of the cinn/sugar mix. So many possibilities and the kids LOVED helping!

THREE // FALL MANTEL STYLING

I don’t have a mantel at this house and I’m suddenly missing it. Seeing all of the beautiful Fall mantels cross my feed loaded up with leaves and pumpkins and a crackling fire below has me feeling nostalgic thinking about our last home!

While there are SO many wonderful things about our new home and living in Arizona, I am not sure I will ever be able to fill the void of a warm fire in the Family Room on a crisp Fall day.

You know the kind… Fire is roaring, chili is in the crockpot, a pumpkin candle burning on the counter and you’re cozied up with a blanket watching Football.

Yeah, that kind of day.

Here are a couple of old Fall mantels I styled if you’re looking for any inspo for yours this year.

FOUR // ON HOLD AT THE LIBRARY

I’m all in on Colleen Hoover right now, but she’s got a long wait list at my local Library! I’ve been recommended a few other books lately and they are almost ready for pick-up so thought I’d share what I’m hoping to dive into this Fall:

I’m excited to try a few of these new authors. I’m hoping to pick the ready ones up this weekend to dive in!

FIVE // THE ABSOLUTE CUTEST PUMPKIN SERVING BOARD!

I can’t help but love this adorable pumpkin board! How fun for Fall entertaining?! This pumpkin shaped wooden serving board would be perfect for kid snacks or a fall-themed charcuterie board. SO cute!

Here are a few other pumpkin finds you might enjoy, too:

My Fall Amazon Finds post is going out next week so I can guarantee you’ll be seeing this again!

Here are a few from year’s past. Many items are still available!

Have a great weekend, friends!

I’ve got some fun content planned for next week, so I’ll see you back here soon. We have baseball practices, Win’s first tee-ball game and dinner for a friend’s birthday Saturday night. We’re also planning to clean out and re-organize the basement. Everything was emptied from one of the closets after the flood and we need to get some order down there!!

Talk soon!
