HOLIDAY HAPPY HOUR // POMEGRANATE MOSCOW MULES
It doesn’t take a whole lot to switch up the flavors of a Moscow Mule cocktail. It’s something we love to do since our liquor of choice is vodka or tequila.
Whether you like the original mule or maybe you’ve tried my Apple Cider Moscow Mules in the Fall!
Today I’m sharing an easy way to spice up your holiday happy hour with this delicious Pomegranate Moscow Mule Recipe.
Pomegranates are so cute and tasty! One of my go-to garnishes this time of the year!
ingredients for POMEGRANATE MOSCOW MULES
- 1.5-2 oz vodka [we use Tito’s, Prairie or Kirklands]
- ginger beer [we use diet]
- 1-1.5 oz pomegranate juice
- juice from 1/2 squeezed lime
- pomegranates & Rosemary sprig to garnish
DIRECTIONS FOR POMEGRANATE MOSCOW MULES
STEP 1 // Fill mule mug or cocktail glass with ice
STEP 2 // Pour in the desired amount of vodka – somewhere between 1.5-2 ounces
STEP 3 // Add 1 oz of pomegranate juice.
STEP 4 // Fill the remainder of glass with ginger beer.
STEP 5 // Squeeze in lime juice, stir and then add pomegranates & rosemary to garnish.
STEP 6 // Serve & enjoy!
We love this drink! And its such a pretty one to serve in a copper mug with the red & green accents! You can also add in a wedge of lime for some extra green 😉
This is so easy and festive! You can easily swap out the pomegranates for cranberries and cranberry juice if you prefer. Both mules are equally tasty!! We always keep pomegranates, cranberries [in the freezer, for Christmas Morning Mimosas] and rosemary on hand Thanksgiving through New Year.
You never know when you’ll need to whip something up 😉
