The Friday Five

The Friday Five - This is our Bliss

Happy Friday, friends! Cheers to the long holiday weekend! We don’t have much going on but a little baseball and a birthday party. Tonight, we’ll probably do Family Pizza & Movie night and maybe try to squeeze in a date night or hang out with friends at some point, too. Today I’m here with The Friday Five, so let’s chat!

If you’ve missed any past posts in the Friday Five series you can get caught up here.

ONE // BRING ON FALLLLLLL

It’s September 1st, so Summer is over right?! Well, we have at least another month of over 100 degree temperatures, but at least there is an end in sight now that we’ve hit the first of the month. I haven’t pulled out any Fall decor yet, but might start next week. If you’re around the house this holiday weekend and are looking for some ideas, be sure to check out my Fall Home Tours here.

And if you’re looking for some new accessories, I’ve linked some collages below!

TWO // LUNCH LATELY

You probably don’t care much about what I eat for lunch, but for anyone that does, here you go!! I’ve been on a cucumber kick lately and the funny thing is, is that I didn’t even like them until a couple years ago. Now, I love them so much, I’ve found myself eating snack plates full of them as my lunch! I’m also slightly obsessed with the Buffalo Wing flavored pretzel crisps.

They both pair together nicley with cottage cheese and hummus. Filling and healthy and great for my mid-day meal. Oh and a little Everything But the Bagel Seasoning is delicious on cottage cheese!

THREE // AMAZON STATEMENT BLOUSES I’LL WEAR INTO FALL

You may have seen these tops in one of my recent Reels on Instagram or in my latest Amazon Try-on Haul, but I thought I would share them for you again!

They are the perfect pieces to transition from late Summer into Fall because you can wear them with shorts now and jeans later. The colors are beautiful for the Fall, especially the dark green in this one.

Plus, the long-sleeve one comes in several other color options [I love the hot pink!] and a leather jacket would layer nicely on top!

I have some of the cuuuutest Fall pieces on their way to me soon, so I’ll be sharing them starting next week. Stay tuned!

FOUR // SUPER CUTE PICKLEBALL FINDS

I jumped on the pickleball train earlier this Spring and am having a blast playing! My girlfriends and I even played a couple times while up north in Pinetop this Summer. There were 8 of us, so we had enough pairs for both courts!

You can see my full Pinetop Girls Weekend Recap post here.

On Wednesdays, a group of mom friends and I get together to play after school drop-off during open play at a new indoo facility. We all take note of each other’s new pickleball accessories each week ha!

I plan to do an entire round-up of my latest pickleball finds, but for now, I’ll just leave them here for you!

This hat reminds me of my CHI hat and this hot pink & green one is the same one we all got to wear on the courts for our girlfriend’s birthday up north!

I love these paddles and this set is one my friend got for her boys – love the design!

This bag and this bag are both adorable and these hot pink balls are so fun!

We’ve all been loving this pleated skirt. You can see all the details and me wearing it in this post here. I have it in black & white.

And I just got these green & white Nike court shoes for tennis & pickleball. SO comfortable and they didn’t even have to be broke in. Love the crisp white!

If you’re looking for a cute gift idea, I love these wine glasses and this graphic tee.

FIVE // KID SNACK BOARD IDEAS

You know I love a good board! They are so much fun to put together and since I usually do themed boards or create them for a hoiday gathering, I’ve had fun making simple ones for the kids lately, too!

All you have to do is grab some dry goods from the pantry and add some fresh fruit from the fridge and snack time is ready!

When we have friends over, I love making kid snack boards for easy grab’n’go access. I have a large acrylic platter and will take it out by the pool. I have even put their juice boxes on the board!

If you’re hosting any kids this weekend, try it! You can literally add anything and they will think its the coolest!

I did this snack / candy board for Simon’s 9th birthday party back in May and it was a huge hit!

That’s it for today! oh, one last thing, if you’ve been eyeing this checkered tumbler, its back in stock!! I got it in July and its SO so cute. The neutral colors are perfect!

I get complimented every time I take it out and about!

I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend. I’ll be back with some Labor Day sales & codes in a new Weekend Wants post soon!
