Holiday Appetizer // 5 Minute Guacamole Christmas Tree Board
This simple, but festive way to serve guacamole is so cute and SO easy. Its red and green and so delicious! I’ll share how I made it below!
INGREDIENTS FOR HOW TO MAKE A GUACAMOLE CHRISTMAS TREE BOARD
- 1, 15-ounce containers [I used Wholly Guacamole Classic Mild Guacamole Family size]
- 1, 4-ounce container fresh pomegranate seeds [I used Pom Wonderful Pomegranate Fresh Arils]
- fresh cilantro
- 1 bag of Tostitos red holiday tree tortilla chips [but I just found these cute red & green ones!]
- this Christmas tree serving board
- A larger rectangle board [I used this one]
- *optional: tree spreader [similar]
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE A GUACAMOLE CHRISTMAS TREE BOARD
ONE // Place tree board in the center of the rectangle serving board.
TWO // Spread guacamole on the tree board.
THREE // Add your pomegranate seeds throughout the tree as “ornaments” and sprinkle some fresh cilantro on as garnish. I only had dried cilantro on hand, but would definitely make the swap when I make it next time!
FOUR // Place your red chips around the tree on the outer board.
FIVE // Set out to serve your holiday guests!
I added this Christmas tree spreader [similar here] to the side of the tree, but you could also place a spoon! If I made this again, I would add some fresh cilantro to the tree as a garnish. You could place it on the tree as garland and have the pomegranates in between!
Fresh cranberries could also be substituted for the pomegranate seeds!
This really is so cute to put out and it only takes a few minutes to put together. No chopping, dicing or cooking required!
