Now that I’m finally popping in with another Laundry Room related post, do you believe me when I say I’ve really been working on my own laundry room and will be sharing some progress SOON! Right now, we are wrapping up the last 30-40% of the space which includes the storage and organizational components as well as the final decorating touches. The cabinet painting is complete and the hardware is on it’s way to me! I’ll be sharing that update soon, but for today, I thought I would round up some Inspiring Laundry Room Ideas for you.
From glam to neutral to bold to just fabulous storage and organizing solutions, these are the spaces I’ve pulled real life inspiration from for my own Laundry Room. Some of these spaces I’ve been eyeing for years [thanks to Pinterest], but it wasn’t until this house that I actually had a laundry room worth fixing up.
Albeit an overflowing washing machine was what forced us to do some sprucing, but either way, I can’t wait until ours is finished! We are getting so so close.
After all, don’t we all spend more time in here than we care to admit?!!
INSPIRING LAUNDRY ROOM IDEAS: GLAM LAUNDRY ROOMS
This Laundry Room is one of those I’ve had pinned on my Laundry Room Ideas board since Sarah of The Curated House revealed her Laundry Room for the One Room Challenge back in 2015. It is fresh and bold and glam all in one! I love her design choices, color palette and styling.
Isn’t it dreamy?!
Tammy’s gorgeous laundry room is so light and airy with glam touches throughout. Check out her light fixture and cabinet hardware! Oh and that gray cabinet color and backsplash design is what dreams are made of!
Plus, her butcher block counter top is such a gorgeous natural element to add style and functionality to her Laundry Room.
Plus, pretty pink flowers in a farmhouse sink under a drool-worthy brass faucet?!
Yes, please.
INSPIRING LAUNDRY ROOM IDEAS: LAUNDRY ROOMS WITH A POP OF COLOR
I have loved this bold and modern laundry room “closet” since Angela first revealed this space as part of the One Room Challenge several years ago. The bright green color, statement light and fabulous color coordinated storage off to the right is such a fun way to jazz up a tiny space.
Why not go all out and really make your entire space a wow factor…not just one element! And that black and white patterned touches throughout have my heart.
Be sure to take a peek and see what she did to accent her shelving!!

Not only do I love the idea of painting the laundry cabinets a fun color, but why not take it a step further and paint the window trim to match?! I love the shade of green of the cabinets and window trim with a sweet vintage print hung in between.
Give the cabinets an update and leave the original hardware for another vintage touch!
As if this wallpaper doesn’t say it all!! Rhoda’s beautiful recently finished laundry room with vintage touches is such a happy place! I’d take my sweet time doing laundry in here if I were her.
Its bold colors and pattern with cute vintage touches make all the difference. She even has the perfect little bar above the door for hanging clothes. I’m definitely taking notes!
Love the idea of a pop of color on the door! This laundry room bench with hooks above and floor storage below makes for the perfect drop zone. The gorgeous wood touches in the bench and countertop balance out the white and blue tones and add some texture to the space.
I’d absolutely be okay with fluffing my loads in such a light and airy space!!
Why not have some fun with color?
INSPIRING LAUNDRY ROOM IDEAS: NEUTRAL LAUNDRY ROOMS
I love the natural touches mixed with the fresh white in the laundry room below. The other side of Sara’s gorgeous farmhouse laundry room is just as beautiful! Plenty of floor storage with DIY wire laundry baskets, a bar for hanging clothes and a steam clothing care system.
That touch alone is a dream, but this space overall is just laundry room goals. Period.

This neutral gray and white palette is so well done! The DIY stencil flooring is beautiful and the statement wood beam floating shelf is a great way to utilize the space under the cabinets. And the cabinet color is SUCH a pretty gray.

Another stunning gray and white Laundry Room! Lydi calls her a “mini” laundry room versus a small one, but gosh is it ever pretty! The gray subway tile is actually peel-and-stick which is so inspiring! Every square inch of this laundry room is beautiful and functional!!

INSPIRING LAUNDRY ROOM IDEAS: LAUNDRY ROOM ORGANIZATION IDEAS
How wonderful would it be to have a floor to ceiling storage solution? These labeled mesh baskets were traded in for traditional laundry baskets or hampers to save space. And if you flip to the other side of the room, there is a fabulous pegboard for even more wall storage. We had a great experience with our pegboard gallery wall we hung in the middle’s old nursery.
Like this one, ours proved to be stylish and functional for our needs! There is literally not one inch of unused space in this small laundry room!
I’ve never met a label I didn’t love! I adore these labeled bins in the laundry room that fit perfectly on the shelf space. The set-up makes reaching for laundry items a breeze. Or if you’re like me, easy to grab miscellaneous items that happened to be stored in the laundry room. The storage space in our home is limited so as we work on our laundry room, I know I’ll be taking full advantage of the space and squeeze in as many bins and baskets [and labels!] that I possibly can.
White baskets keep it looking so fresh and clean, too!
Talk about great use of space! I love how Annie is taking full of advantage of her vertical space and has custom shelves on the wall for laundry baskets. If you’ve got the room to do something like this, it sure would be nice to not have so many baskets and hampers taking up so much floor space.
Her wall color is so bold and pretty behind all of the bright white!

No cabinets? Use floating shelves all the way up to store your things. Plus a countertop for folding and more baskets. Plus I spot a hanging rack off to the right that flips up for hanging clothes! Such a space saver. Genius!
