Our outdoor covered patio reveal day is finally here! The final post in the Outdoor Oasis series! What was once a drab slab of cement is now our little outdoor happy place! And the outdoor pallet sign really sealed the deal for this “happy” space 🙂
So, if you remember back, I don’t know, maybe 2 months ago, I started this little “Outdoor Oasis” project. Basically, what I wanted to do was make an ugly cement slab into something calm & inviting. I envisioned a relaxing little area to be able to have a glass of wine while dinner is on the grill and Henry is playing in the yard. We have entertained friends and family in our new outdoor space over the last several weeks including at Henry’s 2nd birthday party. It is the cool place to be at our house right now 🙂
OUTDOOR COVERED BACK PATIO
Remember back to this gold end-table? I found it here.
Then I scored this one while thrifting. It was a bit tattered and rusty, so of course I sprayed it gold
🙂 The tables are similar in size & shape, but still different enough to give the space some visual interest. I love the detail in the top.
I fell in love with these outdoor hooks & lanterns at PB, so picked up 3 of them to install on the wood pillars near the hanging curtain panels. I put outdoor flameless pillar candles in them & they look really pretty at night.
This gold-rimmed rope hurricane {similar here & here } from Target picks up the gold in the space and the handle resembles the sisal rope I used to have the curtains & pallet sign.
Another look at my Pallet Masterpiece!
I’m obsessed with this outdoor rug I ordered from Target online. It was on sale earlier this summer so I am glad I found it when I did.
Here are the rest of the posts in the Outdoor Oasis series in cased you missed them or are new to This is our Bliss.

Everyone loves a good before & after, so I will leave you with this…
So, what do you think? Does this outdoor covered back patio look like somewhere you would want to hang out?
Hopefully, yes and hopefully you found some inspiration for sprucing up your own outdoor area! We are so in love with our newly finished covered back patio!
Thanks!
