Ok, so these basement room reveals are slowly but surely going to start rising to the surface! I’ve shared a few sneak peeks with you all since we took on our basement project last Spring, but today I am so excited to show you the newly finished Neutral Glam Basement Bathroom. Another completed room reveal in the books!

I worked on this room little by little after sharing the basement bathroom progress post by picking up a few things here and there and then finally took my camera down to shoot some photos. I truly love how it came together!
T and I joke that it’s by far the nicest bathroom in the house and we really should be showering and getting ready down here. Buuuut instead, our guests have been able to use it as an alternative to the guest bathroom on the 2nd floor.
If I had to pick, I’d be grabbing my gear and heading down!
I don’t really have any atrocious “before” photos to share since this was new construction, but this is what we were working with last summer…
NEUTRAL GLAM BASEMENT BATHROOM BEFORE PHOTOS
…and then eventually inched our way to this…
and finally…
THE NEUTRAL GLAM BASEMENT BATHROOM AFTER!
After you scroll through the pictures, be sure to take a peek at the end of the post where I’ve linked up as many of the sources or similar items I could find.
A ton of my decor pieces were from HomeGoods [which is frequently referred to as the “mothership” around here!] but did my best to find super close alternatives.
Overall, the space is fresh and airy with light gray walls, [you can see the entire post I wrote on our home’s paint colors including the best basement paint color choice] carrara marble shower with a frame-less glass door, but with dark gray porcelain tile floors and bold pops of black and gold, it gives it a slightly more dramatic look.
I also added in a few wood tone touches to keep the space feeling natural and warm.
I absolutely love how these DIY black, white and gold abstract art pieces turned out.
Don’t you think they’d work well in so many different rooms in our home?
See how I’ve used them in our Dining Room, Laundry Room & Kitchen since!
Aside from the marble shower, the vanity is probably my 2nd favorite aspect of the space.
I was happy to stumble upon it! The black “X” vanity is black with a white countertop, but has this unique “X” detail on the side for peekaboo storage.
I have guest towels and back-up TP ready to go.
Ok, I lied.
I might be more in love with the mirror and vanity light fixture than I am with the vanity – no hard feelings, though! When I found each piece, I brought it into the space and let it sit until I came across the next item. Here is a close-up of the vanity light.
It has the most subtle touch of gold—see the bolts?!
I had my heart set on it for quite awhile before I pulled the trigger. You might remember I included it in this vanity light round-up as a contender! Well, it won me over.
This vanilla bean candle has very quickly become one of my favorites. I’ve picked up a couple extras to have on hand around the house. And have I sure gotten good use out of my little faceted terrarium!
It has served as a candy dish, ornament holder and now the perfect keeper of the cotton balls and Q-tips 😉A couple more inexpensive scores from HomeGoods—the box plant fit perfectly on the back of the toilet [which has a nightlight in it btw…in case you have trouble seeing in there in the dark ha!]
The canvas art says neutral modern glam, but its not too overwhelming with its soft lines and muted colors.
And that black dot detail hand towel [similar towel here] was made for me!
So, there it is! The space has me all sorts of giddy. Now…if I could only spruce up the master bathroom… Another day, another dollar and that day is a looong time away!

November 22, 2016 at 5:06 PMI love it! I am wondering if you can share exactly what tile you used on the floor? The link provided shows a much more beige/gray tile while in your pictures the tile looks more slate gray?

November 22, 2016 at 9:06 AMWhat color gray paint did you use on the walls? My bathroom is somewhat similar but I have been struggling with the right paint choice.
