Hooray, hooray! Friday is here! Today marks 1 week until the littles are out of school for the Summer and one DAY until the littlest turns THREE! Yep! The next week is filled with end-of-the-year field trips, picnics, parties and lots of “shorts and short-sleeves” as the biggest requests each morning now that it finally feels like spring here in Chicagoland! We definitely have a busy week ahead. Today, I’m bringing you another Friday Fab Finds — the things I’m currently eyeing, buying and styling! From home decor, clothing and accessories or pretty places and spaces, I’m essentially sharing my favorite things of the moment!

In honor of being on the brink of summer around here, today I’m sharing some bright & cheery summery finds!
Last weekend, I celebrated Mother’s Day weekend by brunching with my crew in the AM and relaxing in the PM with pedicures and shopping accompanied by my mom and sis. I shared this same photo [but in black and white] on Instagram, but when I shared it on my personal Facebook page, I got asked where I bought my shirt….

You saw last week that I finally put a plan in place for our master bedroom and now I need to do some more mood board creating for the living room and our backyard deck. I’ve started to spruce up the back a bit since the weather has started to cooperate over the last couple weeks and this outdoor pillow has recently been added to the collection!
It says it has a java brown background in the description on the world market site [and looks brown in the photo above] but it actually looks more like black in person. Even if it is brown, I’m treating it like black and it totally works with the black in the rest of the pillows on the deck! We like to entertain, especially when it’s warm outside. Even when it’s just T and I having a drink on the deck after dinner, I always grab one of our acrylic wine tumblers. They come in 8 different colors which is nice when you have 7 girlfriends over because you won’t lose track of your vino! The other great thing about these are that they are stackable.
You can choose between the set of 8 colored or select clear. The clear glasses are nearly half the price which seems strange to me, but I think the value is worth it. I actually just peeked at my amazon orders and saw that I’ve had the colored stackable glasses for 3 years now!
My girlfriend, Heather from Southern State of Mind just shared the most adorable Last Minute Teacher gift idea! She bought darling beach towels and sunscreen and then attached a tag with a cute little saying on it. She’s sharing them on her blog as a FREE printable, so head over and scoop them up!
She also shared how cute it would be to gift a fun pool raft with the gift tags she created and when I peeked on Amazon to look at the rafts… you KNOW I fell in love with the pineapple raft.
There are flamingos, donuts and even pizza and pretzel rafts! Those would ALL make for a hilariously fun summer pool party. Don’t you agree?!!
And another outdoor essential I recently saw on A Thoughtful Place, when Courtney shared her recent backyard makeover and this outdoor side table / cooler!
She styled her backyard space with darling navy and white stripes and placed the cooler right in between 2 gorgeous outdoor lounge chairs. Filling it up with waters and juice pouches for the kids or adult beverages for a weekend party allow for stylish and functional storage!
