The most epic sale of the year is here! Well, almost here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access starts tomorrow and I’m sharing my 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks with you today on the blog! I’ve rounded up my favorites from booties to sweaters to denim to home and accessories. I’ll be updating this post daily as I find new deals and as my own shipments arrive. So you’ll see what I’m buying and loving from the Nordstrom Sale.
The Anniversary Sale [sometimes referred to as the N-sale or #nsale] rolls around each July and is arguable one of the biggest sales in retail. Prices are slashed on brand new released collections before other retails even launch these same items. Get your Fall essentials now while they are on mega discount. You just can’t beat the prices on the sale items across all categories. I’ve got a TON of items featured in this post, but keep in mind I’m only sharing things I actually would wear, will buy or are on my real wish list. I’m not going to show you anything and everything from each department.
There are simply too many items [like 10,000 SKU’s!] and not all of them are things I’m personally interested in.
But let me tell you.

MY 2019 NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS
I’ve scoured the sale items and am sharing my picks with you today in 9+ categories! If you are Icon or Ambassador status cardholders, you can begin adding things to your cart at 12:30 pm EST today and then all cardholders get access tomorrow. I wanted to get this guide out to you today so you can start building your wishlist!
I tend to make multiple orders throughout the sale so I don’t risk an item I love selling out. I can always make returns if I change my mind or something doesn’t fit. I’ve listed out some of my N-sale shopping tips at the bottom of the post, so be sure to take a peek. Hopefully this sale is as much fun to shop for you as it is for me.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: WOMEN’S TOPS, SWEATERS & CARDIGANS
Who else is trying to fight the urge for warm and cozy sweaters and cardigans?!
It’s obviously still early July, but as soon as this stuff gets released, I’m like “Give me allll the cardis!!”
I’m stocking up because they are the perfect layering piece to throw on at night at the end of Summer and start of Fall. They are pretty much a year-round staple. I own last year’s version of this cardigan and love it just as much this year. It comes in 5 colors so I’m eyeing the oatmeal and gray, but the brown cattail one is hard to pass up. Even though that’s the color I grabbed last year!
To my surprise, another one of my favorite cardigan purchases from last Fall, is included in this year’s sale. This leopard print open cardigan is soft and fuzzy and looks great over any basic tee or cami! There are actually several animal print cardigans I’m eyeing and the snakeskin prints in the shoe department are amazing. See them in the shoe category down below.
One thing I skipped last year and am totally ordering this year, is the Wubby Fleece Pullover. Love that it’s part of the sale again! And this striped sweater will look SO cute with any leopard mules or booties. #majorhearteyes
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: WOMEN’S JACKETS
I always love to grab a couple jackets during the sale, too. I picked up a black moto jacket [no longer available] last year and wore it more times than I can count. I’ve styled several ways in my Casual Chic Style series.
I love this similar option with the removable hood and this option for versatile jackets this season.
Obsessing over this hunter green faux fur jacket so it’ll probably end up on my doorstep in the coming days!!
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: WOMEN’S BOTTOMS
Jeans are another great thing to snag during the sale. I live in denim, but still don’t love paying full-price!! Skinny, distressed and raw hems are still on trend this season and I’m loving the boot-cut, flare and wide leg looks too.
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: WOMEN’S SHOES
Bold prints [hello, snakeskin and leopard!], studded mules and slides, cut-outs and perforated booties are super hot and on-trend again this Fall. Update any of your classic flats or booties for these options to add some fun to your closet, while still being neutral and versatile!
I’m sure you can imagine how thrilled I am that leopard isn’t going anywhere. Because my moment with leopard is far from over! You’ll find leopard print in nearly every category in this post!
And you know it’s not really Fall until you’re wearing your boots 😉
I also love when Ugg slippers go on sale! They are a slipper I’ve continued to buy and wear since high school. The quality and comfort is excellent and they make wonderful Christmas gifts!
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: LOUNGEWEAR & ATHLEISURE GEAR
I always like to grab Zella & Spanx leggings while they’re this deeply discounted. Tons of goodies for working out and lounging around on sale this year!
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: HOME
This is the time to stock up on essentials like pillows, throws and towels! My absolute all-time favorite bath towels are available during the sale and I grabbed 2 more white and 2 more gray. They are just the best.
You might recognize my animal print throw from around the house! Except this year they’ve added a gray leopard and a CAMO barefoot dreams throw blanket! The N-sale is one of the best times of the year to grab any Barefoot Dreams items [their sweaters and cardigans are the best, too!] I have more throws than I can count, but they are perfect to lounge on the couch with or to keep near you in bed or to stash in the guest room.
They are a bit of a splurge, but you can not go wrong with these blankets. Trust me!!
I’ve been hooked for years and they are still my favorite.
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: HANDBAGS, JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES
Designer watches [well, designer anything] are definitely items to consider when shopping the sale. A few Michele watches are always included in the sale which are a huge score. [This one is absolutely gorgeous but a HUGE splurge.] I have a silver one from years ago and still love it as much now as when I got it. This gold & silver Tory Burch watch is also gorgeous and only a fraction of the price of a Michele!
They’re are also tons of amazing deals on purses, clutches and sunglasses!

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS: BOY’S CLOTHES
I’ve never shared any of my picks for boy’s clothes during the sale, but when I polled you guys on Instagram, quite a few of you were interested in my picks! So here they are! Again, the sale is a great time to stock up on some basics for the kids. Plus maybe a shirt or two for school picture day or Fall family photos.

MY TIPS & TAKEAWAYS FOR SHOPPING THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE
Whether you’re a pro N-sale shopper or are joining the hype for the first time this year, here are some things to keep in mind:
- Apply to be a cardholder. The perks are unlike any other retail card out there. You can shop early access before the general public, earn rewards [or Nordstrom notes] and shop on double, triple and 10x point days. The notes add up quickly this way!
- Take inventory in your own closet. See where the gaps and what needs to be updated. Then purge all worn, pilling, faded and stretched out items. Also donate or sell the pieces that are too small, too big or just don’t fit your taste and style anymore. Use the sale as a way to update your wardrobe with basics and essentials you can layer and mix and match all year long!
- Items WILL sell out. So add them to your cart and place multiple orders. It’s free shipping, so you could place an order every other day or multiple orders in ONE day. They do restock items, but it’s not a guarantee. If you love, grab it. You can always return.
- Order multiple sizes if you’re unsure. Like I said, things will sell out! So if you are in between sizes or just aren’t sure, don’t order one size and think you’ll be able to order a size up or size down after your order arrives and you try it on. Get them both now.
- Stock up on basics. It’s a great time to purchase the pieces you know you will get good mileage out of all year – think layering pieces including tanks, tees, cardigans and jackets.
- Grab the brands that rarely go on sale. Uggs, Hunter boots, barefoot dreams, Spanx, North Face, Patagonia, etc.
- Think holiday and birthday gifts. It’s definitely not too soon to think about holiday gifting especially when so many great things are on sale. Get your mom’s/daughter’s/husband’s/bestie’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale wish list and get their gifts handled early!
- Be adventurous and have fun! Trying a new trend or a style you’ve always wanted to is exciting! And when you can try something new in your own closet, what better time than sale time to do it!
- Bookmark this blog post and follow me on social media to stay on top of my picks of the sale items. Early Access for cardholders starts Thursday, 7.12 at 12:30 pm EST and then opens to the public on July 19th. If you want to shop before then, open a card!
