The Friday Five

Hey, hey out there! I hope everyone had a great week! I’ve been absent around here these last couple of Fridays, with the One Room Challenge and a busy Spring sports and activities season, but I’m sneaking in a quick Friday Five today before I head out tomorrow on a girls’ trip to Charleston! Read on for The Friday Five

It’s a busy time around here but T can hold down the fort!

THE FRIDAY FIVE

ONE // CUTEST TOP FOR SPRING

I ordered this top a couple of weeks ago and had high hopes for a unique Spring top. And it did not disappoint! The fit is like a tee shirt, but the sleeves are absolutely stunning. The material is soft and stretchy which sometimes isn’t the case with mixed material statement sleeves.

top // purse // necklace // sunglasses

It looks great with white jeans and a Spring purse. I know this top is going to be on repeat!

TWO // HEADING TO CHARLESTON

Going on a mother/daughter trip with my mom, sister, and aunts for a few days to soak up the charm of Charleston. Ted and I visited for a couple days almost 6 years ago, but it was such a short trip!

Gosh, we look like babies!

I’m excited for all the food and fun coming our way! I’ll be sure to share some of our stops in my stories, so come follow along. I’ll do a trip recap when we get back, too!

If you have any Charleston must-see or do’s, please let me know!!

THREE // A FEW THINGS I’M PACKING

These things have landed in my suitcase so far:

I really need to get organized this afternoon. We have a 6 am flight uggghhh! I’ll share the outfits that I end up bringing. You’ll see some of them in our Style My Closet Challenge posts 😉

FOUR // LATEST BUDGET BEAUTY BUY

My Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner was running slow, so I grabbed this pinky nude liner as an inexpensive alternative to hold me over until I ordered a new one. I’m loving it so far. It might become a permanent replacement with its $4.99 price tag.

The color is called “natural”.

FIVE // A FEW PICS OF MY AUNT’S BACKYARD WEDDING LAST WEEKEND

We had the most gorgeous weather for my aunt’s wedding last Saturday. They have a large backyard that made the perfect backdrop for their big day. I put the flower arrangements together for the tables and although we lost a few to the wind, they turned out pretty good! Everything was from Trader Joe’s!

I’ll share more photos in a full recap and more of the flowers, too.

She’s coming to Charleston with us so we joke that this will be her honeymoon sans the groom!!
