I’ve been oohing and ahhing over dark and dramatic bathrooms for as long as I can remember and now I’m finally channeling some of the inspiring spaces I’ve been pinning over the years and getting to work in my own home! It’s Week 3 of the ORC and today I’m sharing 5 Black Powder Rooms I Can’t Get Enough of!

It’s no secret, I love a bold and dark statement in a room. With black interior doors in our last house, the black staircase, our Family Room built-ins, kitchen island, and his and hers closet ceilings, I’m no stranger to the darker side!
But I have yet to paint an entire room black! As you saw last week, I’m planning to go bold and black with the walls in the Powder Room project. Since I don’t have any progress to share in my own bathroom yet, I thought I’d show you some of the stunning spaces I’ve been pulling inspiration from.
We had some scheduling issues with my painter last week, but fingers crossed he is here tomorrow to remove the tile and begin painting. More to come in stories and of course, next week!

I can’t wait to see the walls in mine come to life. There is plenty of work ahead of me, so I hope to have some real progress to show next week.
Update!: Here is the final Reveal of our Black Powder Room and I have to say, I just can’t get enough of it!
