We’re down to the very last week of the New Year New Room Refresh Challenge and gosh I have so much to do!! Current State of the Office + Guestroom // NYNR Week 4 Update
Let’s just say I have some work to do. BUT, I do have a fun update. There is something I’ve always wanted to try in all of my previous homes and decided last week, to finally give it a go in my office!
We painted the windows.
Any guesses what color?
If you guessed black, then you are correct!
This probably doesn’t come as a surprise to you since I love a dark and moody space, accent walls, accessories, etc. It’s just my favorite look!
My angel of a dad came over to help with this painting project and so far we’ve got one coat of paint up and plan to finish today since it’s rainy and cold outside. Perfect day to work inside!
He also added some trim to the sides of the Murphy Bed to give it more of a finished look since there was a slight gap. It looks great!
Other than that, I’m still working to get things sourced and ordered with my fingers and toes crossed they arrive in time for the reveal next week. My ceiling fan is back-ordered and I’m not going to get to the closet this month, but plan to circle back with updates as I make progress there.
