Hello, ladies! I hope everyone is having a great start to the month! Mother’s Day and alllll the May things are right around the corner so I wanted to share a quick, easy & inexpensive gift idea for any of your special mama friends! Ditch the gift bag and try this instead! Here is a Mother’s Day in a Mug Gift Idea!
We’ve all seen cute gift baskets for Mother’s Day filled with all the goodies, but sometimes you want to do a little something without spending too much. This gift-in-a-mug idea not only uses the most beautiful mug as the vessel but all in, is under $25! It could be even less depending on what you put inside.
THREE // Then, I trimmed a flower from the bundle with wire cutters and added it inside.
FOUR // This step is optional since I don’t have a link for the flower picks and I made the little card. But I simply typed out “You are a great M M” [leaving space between the m’s] on a card, printed it out on cardstock, cut around it to make a rectangle, and then used double-sided tape to attach the flower pick to the front of the card to spell MOM using the flower as the O! You could skip this part, but I do think it is cute!
FIVE // Lastly, I tied some mesh tulle to the handle to make a bow and finish off the gift!
This gift in a mug would be so cute to deliver to your mom, sister or favorite mama friends! Any special ladies who deserve a little something to let them know you think they are a great mom this Mother’s Day!!
