One of the advantages of winter in Arizona is that we get to enjoy the sunshine in the daytime and our “cold nights” are still warm enough to sit outside with blankets by the fire. I put together a holiday-themed smores board for the boys last holiday season and it turned out so pretty, I thought I’d share it here on the blog. You know I love a good board, so here is how to make The Ultimate Holiday S’mores Board!
I love putting all types of boards together. They are perfect for entertaining or just throwing a bunch of kid snacks & juice boxes on one for playdates or family parties!
The best part is that you can literally throw anything on your board and it looks instantly curated! Fridge or pantry clean-out time – just throw it on a board for your family to munch on!

THE ULTIMATE HOLIDAY S’MORES BOARD
We have an outdoor fireplace in the backyard that is perfect to cozy up to this time of the year. We keep firewood stocked in our holder next to the fireplace and throw on a few logs whenever we feel like hanging out.
Drinks and snacks usually accompany our fire nights and what better fireside treat than a S’mores Board?
This one has little touches of red and green – perfect for the holidays!
Here is how I put together this holiday-themed S’mores board!
ULTIMATE HOLIDAY S’MORES BOARD INGREDIENTS
- graham crackers
- fudge stripe cookies
- gingerbread cookies
- Ghirardelli Holiday Peppermint Bark
- Hershey’s milk chocolate bars
- Hershey’s cookies’n’cream bars
- Mint flavored OREOs
- Reese’s Peanut Butter cups
- peppermint flavored marshmallows
- chocolate filled marshmallows
- strawberries
- mini candy canes
DIRECTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE THE ULTIMATE HOLIDAY S’MORES BOARD
1 // Start with one item. Grab a stack and make 3-5 piles throughout the board. I began with the cookies & graham crackers. Then the chocolates, and then finally nestled in the strawberries & marshmallows.
2 // Fill in with reamining items until the board is covered.
3 // Garnish with mini Candy canes and take out to the fire.
4 // Roast your marshmallows and enjoy your festive treats!
The boys loved this set-up and we all contributed to be a pretty quick board clear-out!
If it’s too cold for an outdoor fire, then you could always try an indoor S’mores party. I’ve heard these tabletop S’mores makers are cute & fun!
