Less than a week until the big day! I’ll be spending these next couple of days prepping for guests, last-minute wrapping, and finalizing our Christmas Dinner menu. If you’re hosting a meal sometime this week and want to add a personalized touch for your guests, I’ve got these Simple DIY Placecards for your Christmas Table.
And you only need a few supplies, most of which you have at home!
You may remember seeing them in my Christmas Living Room & Dining Room Tour earlier this season!

Simple DIY Place cards for Your Christmas Table
When I host, I love creating something personal for each guest at the table. It doesn’t have to be super fancy, but it is a small, added touch that goes a long way. I’ll never forget the year my Grandma asked if she could take the ornament place card I made for everyone home with her.
You can find a few of my other holiday place card ideas here!
Here is what I did this year…
SIMPLE DIY PLACE CARD SUPPLIES
- these pine & berry clips [they come in a pack of 6]
- sharpie
- cardstock paper
- scissors
DIRECTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE THESE SIMPLE DIY PLACE CARDS
This is one of those “DIYs” that I can hardly call a DIY because they’re so easy!
STEP 1 // Cut your cardstock to the desired size. You can do small squares or rectangles.
STEP 2 // Write each guest’s name on the card
STEP 3 // Add a festive clip to each card. You might have to twist the greenery or pinecone around in the position you think looks best. They all bend pretty easily.
STEP 4 // Place on each table setting and you’re ready to host your holiday meal!
That’s it!
What’s on your menu this year?!
If you are looking for a festive appetizer to serve, try these red & green pinwheels, easy bruschetta dip, or a Holiday Grazing board.
My Bacon Stuffed mushrooms are always a hit, just like these bacon-wrapped dates!
And if you need a festive cocktail, try this Pomegranate Moscow Mule recipe or these Cranberry Margaritas!
Let me know if you try anything 😉
