Here we are on a Monday. After such a fun-filled, busy weekend, I am abnormally full of energy for a typical Monday. Normally, I have zero energy to do much of anything. Maybe it was the extra 1/2 cup of decaf coffee I drank, or adrenaline or excitement or… I am not really sure, but I guess I’ll take it while I can get it! So, the weekend. My parents were in town to celebrate my mom’s birthday on April 4th. We of course, celebrated all weekend! We had such a nice time all together and I plan to share the details in a post this week recapping all of our festivities 🙂
Although I haven’t posted too many new nursery projects lately, I do actually feel like we are making progress. The room is really starting to look like a baby’s room! My dad and Ted moved all of the guest room furniture out and set-up the baby’s dresser on Saturday. The room is full of light and feels quite spacious (for now). We still have to wait on the crib and glider delivery, but I love how its starting to come together.
They had a 3rd set of hands to help if they needed it!
I have my projects plotted out for the week & an errand and to-do list for the Mr. for next weekend, so we’ll both be plugging away one little bit at a time. If you remember back to this post, Operation: Nursery #2 {the never-ending checklist}, you’ll see I have been busy as my To Do List now looks like this:

I told you it was never-ending! That is the story of my life though… constantly making lists & (hopefully) checking things off. Have you ever seen that someecard about making a checklist and adding things to it that you’ve already completed, just so you can put a checkmark by it? Yeah, that’s totally me.
Busy week ahead with projects, as well as 32 week Dr. appt. & some “me time” (manicure, a Mom’s Night Out with some ladies in my mom’s group and coffee with a girlfriend). Trying to squeeze in what I can in these last few weeks!
Hope you all are having a good Monday too!
