If a quick and easy dinner under the deck lights, isn’t an ideal Summer night, then I don’t know what is! All of us piled on the outdoor sofa eating, drinking and laughing together is what my mama heart craves. Especially if its a fuss-free, prep-less night – Cheeseburgers and chips is my kind of Summer Dinner menu.
That’s one meal we all can get behind! Approximately zero minutes in the kitchen prepping, plus bonus points for an outside mess versus on [and under!!] the kitchen table!
CASUAL OUTDOOR FAMILY DINNER
We love to grill out in the Summer and we probably do it 2-3 times per week. I truly love that after the meat is ready to go on the grill, we don’t have to spend anymore time inside. The kids play while the food is grilling and I can quickly get our little spot set-up for dining!
This fire pit table doubles as a surface for snacks, drinks and oftentimes we gather around it for a simple Summer dinner. It’s comfortable, casual and as soon as the boys finish, they are right back in the yard playing until bath time, which gives T and I a few minutes to sit and relax.
We’ll take any chance we get!
Chicken, steaks, pork chops, kebabs and burgers are some of our favorites to grill.
And for an easy Summer dinner, all we need is a couple bowls of chips to round out the meal!
