A Big Boy Room for the Littlest // Before Photos

Hi, friends! I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that the Spring One Room Challenge is here already and I’m joining in on the fun for the 8th time! Today, I’m going to introduce my plans to give the littlest his very first Big Boy Room in the new house and share what the room looks like right now!

This is my 8th time participating in the One Room Challenge since 2015 and will be my 4th in this house!

Linda from Calling it Home has built such a strong community of creatives, brands and media outlets through this challenge and I look forward to another go-round and checking another room off of the list!

A BIG BOY ROOM FOR THE LITTLEST // SPRING ORC 2023

We’ve been in Arizona a little over 18 months now and while I’ve tackled quite a few home projects already, all 3 boys’ rooms have remained untouched. Since we said goodbye to Winston’s crib during the move, I feel this guy deserves to have his ‘big boy’ room spiffed up a bit!

Although we moved several pieces of furniture and some accessories from his old room into this one, it looks vastly different than his neutral Nursery [one of my very favorite room transformations to date!] But his AZ digs could really use some fresh additions!

I have 8 weeks to work on the room which will be complete in time for our little guy’s 5th birthday in June!

Let’s take a look and see what we’re starting with…

Do you recognize anything from his Nursery?!

When I told the boys I was going to work on Winston’s room this spring, they both were like “What about ours?!” so I had to remind them they both had new big boy rooms done in our last house when they were his age [see them here and here] Then I had to promise them I’d spruce their rooms up sometime in the next year so I guess the Fall and next year’s Spring ORC’s are decided ha!!
