HOLIDAY APPETIZER // CRANBERRY BAKED BRIE BITES
When I first saw this recipe, I knew I had to try it. I am a cheese lover and brie is one of my favorites. Also, since it only had 5 ingredients and didn’t require much work prior to baking, I figured it would be an easy appetizer to tackle!
I love to entertain, but sticking with simple items allows me to do it more often!
These brie bites are so festive & pretty!
Here is what I did…
INGREDIENTS FOR CRANBERRY BAKED BRIE BITES
- 1 can of crescent rolls
- 1 round of Brie cheese
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- rosemary sprigs
DIRECTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE CRANBERRY BAKED BRIE BITES
1 // Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2 // Open the crescent can and unroll the dough on a cutting board [flour optional] until it is a flat rectangle. Then cut the dough into 24 squares. 6 columns of 4 rows.
3 // Next, unpackage the brie cheese and cut it into bite-size or about 3/4 – 1-inch cubes.
4 // Place the crescent dough squares into a greased mini muffin tin.
5 // Then add a cube of brie cheese to the middle.
6 // Next, add a spoonful of cranberry sauce to the top of the brie and then grab a few chopped pecans and sprinkle on top.
7 // Bake @ 375 for 10-12 minutes or until the crescent rolls start to brown and the brie cheese is melted and bubbling.
8 // Take out of the oven and add a 1-inch sprig of Rosemary on top for garnish.
9 // Remove from the muffin tin and place on a platter or board. Serve to your holiday guests and enjoy!!
Aren’t they cute?!
The cranberry makes it festive for the holiday and the rosemary sprig adds a touch of green! These smell amazing, so they are truly the perfect app to pull out of the oven as your Thanksgiving guests are arriving!
