How to Make a Spooky, Sweet & Savory Halloween Snack Board
The kids love it and the adults will too! It helps to have a combination of sugary & salty munchies to keep everyone happy!
SPOOKY HALLOWEEN SNACK BOARD INGREDIENTS
SAVORY ITEMS:
- goldfish
- veggie straws
- carrots
- ranch dip
- guacamole tortilla chips
- guacamole
SWEET ITEMS:
- Reese’s peanut butter cups
- Oreos
- Nutter butter cookies
- yogurt covered raisins
- green grapes
- mandarin orange slices
- apple sauce pouches
SPOOKY ITEMS:
- plastic skeleton [I used a 20″ one, this one & this one are similar]
- candy eyeballs
- mini white pumpkins [I used 2]
- round black tray
- small round bowls [optional, but I used 2 from this set]
SPOOKY HALLOWEEN SNACK BOARD DIRECTIONS
ONE // Place skeleton in the middle of the board and position him however you like. I ended up letting his feet hang off the edge of the board after I took the picture above.
TWO // Next, grab your small bowls and place them on the board on opposite sides. Fill the bowls with your guacamole and veggie dip.
THREE // Then add your mini pumpkins to the board. You can also wait to add these until the last step when you need to fill in any empty board space. Its up to you!
FOUR // Grab a handful of each item and set on board in small mounds. There is no right way to do this. No particular order necessary!
FIVE // Fill in any empty spots on the board with any of your filler items.
SIX // Lastly, add your candy monster eyes to the guac & dip bowls and then sprinkle them throughout the board however you like. The more eyes, the spookier the board 😉
Set out at your next Halloween gathering and let your guests enjoy!
This particular sweet and savory Halloween snack board works for both kids & adults.
We all love a little sugar & salt, don’t we?!
Its the perfect snack board to set out as an appetizer or to allow everyone to graze on during a party if you’re not serving a meal. You can obviously add any additional items to make it a bit heartier.
I stuck with a black, orange, white and green theme on my spooky Halloween board, but you can choose any Halloween-ish colors you want!
And that’s how you make a sweet, savory & spooky Halloween snack board – Skeleton style!!
