Hello and happy Friday! Although I’ve been posting to the blog, I’ve missed the last couple Fridays and it feels like there’s been a void in my life without our Friday chats! With projects, commitments, plus an anniversary, birthday and family visiting, I’ve had to put the Friday Five on hold for a little bit. But I’m back and ready to hang out with you all for today’s The Friday Five!
I hate missing Fridays with you, so I’ll try to stay caught up! Life happens, but I have so much to share, I feel like I need to write a couple Friday Ten’s! 😉

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE || CHEERS TO 9
We celebrated our ninth anniversary last week with nine holes of golf and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

We go to Wildfire to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries because you are guaranteed a fabulous meal. We are such creatures of habit there — always ordering the most delicious dirty martinis [with blue cheese stuffed olives, of course 😉], the house chopped salad and the best filet medallions with their signature crusts.
My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Every anniversary, I’m flooded with memories, not only of our wonderful wedding day, but celebrating our one year anniversary with our fresh 6 day old! We had a glass of champagne and cut into the top layer of our wedding cake while he snoozed away right next to us 🙂
TWO || KONA ICE TRUCK FOR THE WIN
Speaking of that same baby, he just turned 8 and we celebrated the weekend before with a Kona Ice Truck and friends and family in the front yard.
It was a great set-up [short and sweet timeframe, safety measures in place and of course, a delicious, cold treat!
We were thrilled they were available on his birthday and so was the birthday boy!
THREE || LEOPARD IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA
It’s no secret I love animal print and when I landed on these block heel strappy sandals for under $20 with thousands of reviews, I had to give them a try. I was not disappointed! There are over 25 color and print options available, a great heel height and comfortable to wear out.
I paired the leopard heels with jeans and a white flutter sleeve tee for an easy girls night out look.
The snakeprint and neon pink look so fun, too!
And these leopard slides I shared yesterday are so good, too! Love the look so much and with more foot coverage, they are a great transition-to-Fall shoe.

FOUR || MASTER CLOSET PROJECT UPDATE
In case you missed my announcement last week, we are updating our Master Closets! Both Ted’s and mine! I shared my design plans and a few before pictures in this post here and also have a highlight saved on Instagram with pictures and videos of the progress. The wire shelves are gone, holes are patched, walls & ceiling are painted [I went black up top!] and the closet systems are IN!
I’ll be sharing several blog posts about the master closets including the install process and details, as well as the final reveal.
We are now working to put allll our clothes back in after they were piled up along the perimeter of our bedroom for over a week!
I’m so excited to get everything in and organized. Just in time for Fall 😉
