It’s Friday! But also, how is it only Friday?! This week has been a tumultuous one to say the least. Trying to stay positive and remember that no matter what happens, there is still so much to be grateful for. We have made our way through 10 whole weeks of virtual learning and all of us are still standing. That alone is enough to be thankful for! I’m back today with The Friday Five, so come on over and let’s catch up!

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // THE PERFECT HOT PINK SWEATER [FOR $20]

Hot pink has been such a fun trend to see going strong this Fall and when I discovered this super affordable pink sweater, I had to share just how beautiful it is! It’s a classic fit, stunning color and only $20. I’ve had fun styling it a few different ways and will be sharing them all soon!
But this hot pink / camo look is a winning combo and so easy to pull off! The Anorak jacket is only $40 and will carry you through several seasons each year. I’m in a small in the sweater and an XS in the camo.
You all went crazy for these combat boots, so here’s another look as well. $39.99, but they easily look like a $100 pair. Croc detail, mini studs and zip-up sides!
I’m in a 7.5 so would say size down if you’re in between 😉
They are a great way to test out the combat boot trend if you’re unsure. I was hesitant, but now couldn’t love them more!
TWO // THANKSGIVING DOORMATS
I know we’re already seeing full-on Christmas on Instagram, but we do still have one more holiday to celebrate! While I do decorate for Christmas early [and maybe even as soon as this week this year], I know many of us are still trying to pull together some spaces, indoor and outdoor, before Thanksgiving. I found some darling doormats that are perfect for the month of November if you need to spruce up your doorstep.

THREE // NEW BINGEWORTHY SHOW
The only problem is that it’s real time, so can’t binge! When I heard Nicole Kidman was starring [alongside Hugh Grant] in a new show, I knew I had to check it out. It’s called The Undoing and it airs on Sunday nights on HBO. The 3rd episode airs this coming weekend and I’ve been counting down the days since last Sunday ha!
The Undoing is an American psychological thriller miniseries based on the 2014 novel, “You Should Have Known” by Jean Hanff Korelitz.
The show has Big Little Lies vibes which I absolutely loved and will definitely be added to my Bingeworthy Show list. We’ve watched several new shows, so I need to update it, but may just publish a new one with our newest favorites!
FOUR // WITCHES BREW BROWNIES
Anyone else feel like the Halloween candy stash lingers around the house for waaaay too long?
I adore this idea cute idea for how to use the leftovers! Whip up a pan of Witches Brew Brownies using all the leftover chocolate candies and get it over and done with! I think I’m going to make these with the boys this weekend. I’ve also seen a chocolate chip cookie bar version.
They’d go nuts for either!!
FIVE // SNAPSHOTS FROM A “HISTORIC” HALLOWEEN
I know we have moved on from the festivities of last weekend, but I feel it’s only appropriate to share a few of my favorite moments from Halloween. Mainly because they make me happy! But also because with all of the chaos in our country right now and the stress and anxiety weighing on us all, why not take a moment to remember some of the past leaders of our nation.
No matter the outcome of this election, hopefully our very presidential crew will put a smile on your face when this is all over.
Halloween looked and felt different, but everyone still had a ball! Our neighborhood organized a Halloween parade so the kids could walk around the block and collect their candy on sidewalks and ends of driveways.
It turned out to be wonderful 😉

It’s hard to believe we are a full week into the month of November, so ready or not, here we go! Full steam ahead into the last weeks of the year! I’ll be starting to sprinkle in some holiday content soon including, Christmas décor ideas, gift guides and more, but I’d love to hear from you!
