Hey out there and happy Friday! Sitting here typing in disbelief that Christmas is only 2 weeks away. I really need to power through this weekend and get myself 100% organized with gifts and wrapping. I thought I was in good shape, but then must’ve taken my foot off the gas and I’m now I’m starting to feel anxious. Anyone else?! I’m back today with The Friday Five, so come hang out with me for a few minutes to chat!

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // A GREAT HOLIDAY RED LIP COLOR UNDER $10
My absolute favorite red lip color is over $20 and while you can find it on sale [like in this 3 piece gift set here], I’ve been on a mission to find a more affordable one to share. I grabbed this one in shade “hustler” and fell in love.
Its such a great holiday red! It goes on smooth, but dries like a creamy matte. Grab it for $8 this season and try a few other colors while you’re at it. Loyalist & Lover are next on my list.
TWO // KITCHEN DRAWER GLOW UP // OUR ZIPLOCK BAG ORGANIZER
Anyone else’s kitchen drawer look like this?!
I never knew how much a wooden drawer organizer for my ziplocs would make my heart sing! I ordered this organizer a few weeks ago and it was here and set-up in time for Thanksgiving. It’s a little pricier than I would normally spend on something for my baggies lol, but it really does make a difference in my everyday life.
The the top slides off so the baggies are easy to insert and it comes with little clear labels so you can add them to each opening!
Total game changer 😉
THREE // MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS RECIPES
If you’re like me and are trying to get ahead and on top of things for Christmas, you might be planning out your menu or have some things you’d like to make with the kids over winter break!
I thought I’d share a few things we make each holiday season! No Christmas is complete without these recipes:
Christmas Snack mix [with extra red & green m&m’s of course!] – the kids love this stuff and it makes a cute gift
[see my gift in a jar post with printable gift tags here]
Christmas Pinwheels – great to take to a party!
Stuffed Mushrooms – we love these as an appetizer or side dish
Boursin & Jam – impromptu guests?! best 30 second appetizer you can whip up at a moment’s notice
Holiday Grazing Board – I’ll probably make a new version this year!
Christmas Morning Mimosas – our tradition ❤
We also like to have a batch of Peanut Butter Energy Balls around on long breaks from school. I keep these in the freezer and the kids [actually all of us] can easily grab them. Plus they’re not so melty!
FOUR // CHICK-FIL-A NUGGET DUPE AT HOME
Stop what you’re doing right now and add these to your Costco shopping list. My aunt told me about these Chick’fil’A nugget dupes so we bought a bag and now we’re all hooked. The real cherry on top is the fact you can buy the chick’fil’a sauce by the bottle at the grocery store. We have had many a “at-home chick’fil’a meals” since this discovery.
They are slightly bigger chunks, but they really do taste similar!
FIVE // A FEW HOLIDAY MEMES THAT MADE ME GIGGLE
ICYMI: ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK:
Amazon Holiday Haul
Holiday Style // How to Wear Sequins & Leather
[Our New] Home for the Holidays // Christmas Home Tour 2021
Weekend Wants // The Best Finds, Faves & Sales
I’m finishing up my Gift Guide Under $20 and it might go out Saturday or Sunday, so be on the lookout!
Have the best weekend, friends! No plans either night for us, but we do have one last Basketball Championship game tomorrow. I’m going to kick it into high gear and I’ll report back next week with my progress!
