Merry Christmas Eve, friends! I hope you are all soaking up the season with your favorite people and traditions. I’m popping in your inbox briefly with a quick Friday Five before our Christmas Eve festivities commence! We had our first Christmas celebration with all of my AZ family last night so am enjoying a few minutes of quiet before we rev up for Santa’s arrival tonight! Extra coffee today & tomorrow! 😉
I plan to do a couple holiday recap & snapshots posts next week or at the beginning of the new year. We’ve had a busy first holiday season in Arizona!

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // ICYMI: 30% OFF WOMEN’S SWEATERS
I scooped up several new sweaters and they’re all 30% off now! Such cute ones!
Target has really been killing it in the clothing department these last couple of years.
one size fits all open wrap sweater // leggings
I wore this vest / poncho casually with sneakers and leggings during the day yesterday…so comfortable! I love that there aren’t any sleeves.
And then wore the looped cardigan with jeans and booties for the night.
cardigan sweater [size small]
It’s adorable with the best texture! This cardigan is nice and thick with big buttons and a chunky knit trim.
This “red, but not too red” sweater is perfect for this time of year when you want to be subtly festive. I may end up wearing this sweater with my burgundy faux leather pants to church tonight or one of these sweater dresses.
If not with leather pants, then this is how I would style it with jeans and boots!

TWO // FROSTED MISTLETOE MARGARITA
You may have caught my Merry Mistletoe Margarita Recipe last week and I’ve loved hearing from those of you who’ve already made it! It sounds like its in the plans for several others this weekend 😉 It really is delicious!
We celebrated at my aunt’s last night and my sister made a frozen festive margarita for us girls. She found Half Baked Harvest’s Frosted Mistletoe Margarita recipe, pulled out the blender and gave it a shot.
They were also very good! She was disappointed they weren’t as rich of a cranberry color as she thought they would be, but a festive drink is a festive drink and none of us cared one bit!
You can find the recipe here.
THREE // FAVE FAMILY GAME
Our family has loved LCR for years. We play on family vacations and over the holidays! I’m sure many of you have played, but if you haven’t, you’re missing out on a lot of fun! Its a great game for all ages – you just need 3 $1 bills to join. Its a dice game, so very simple and zero skills required!
Simon was the lucky winner of the first big pot last night. He was all smiles the rest of the night 😉
Winston’s taking notes for next year.
LCR won’t arrive in time for Christmas [but I’m pretty sure you can find it at Walgreens if you don’t want to wait], but this could be a great NYE game for kids & adults.
FOUR // FESTIVE SHOES FOR NYE
I’ve shared some fun and festive holiday heels over the last couple of weeks and several of them have become best sellers! If you’re still looking for a party pump or your NYE shoe, check out some of these gorgeous options I’ve rounded up below! I might share a full blog post next week highlighting some of the details [with flat & slipper options, too ;)], but for now, you can see these below:
FIVE // MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours! I hope you all have a happy, healthy and memorable holiday season with family & friends. Thank you all for being a part of this blog adventure with me. I couldn’t do it without your support!
I’ll see you back here for a couple more posts before 2022 arrives!
Merry Christmas!
