What a week it’s been. Tough on the heart and soul. Summer has arrived for our clan and I’m taking today to just be with the boys. Nothing on the agenda, just spending time with them knowing they’re safe at home with me. Come join me for The Friday Five!

THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // SUMMER IS HEEEERREEE!
These 3 boys packed up and headed out for one last day of school. It’s wild that an entire school year at a new school, in their new state is already under their belt. We had the most wonderful experience transitioning into our elementary school – fabulous teachers, new friends and all with welcoming arms.
It is not lost on me that I actually had the precious opportunity to snap these last day of school photos. There are far too many families who didn’t get the chance. I’m still sickened & shattered by the extremely tragic situation that took place in Uvalde, TX. To be honest, it was hard to let my boys out of the car at drop-off Wednesday & Thursday morning. I cried more times than I can count over the last few days. There have been too many senseless tragedies involving our little ones, who look to us for safety & protection. I feel we are on the brink of a change and I pray our country can find a way to keep our most fragile, vulnerable and precious people safe. Especially while at school.
TWO // ICYMI: POWDER ROOM REVEAL
The Spring 2022 One Room Challenge wrapped up this week in our house and I now have a beautiful [and dramatic] newly refreshed Powder Room. The challenge runs for 8 weeks each Spring and Fall and it serves as an opportunity for bloggers & designers to makeover a room in their home during that timeframe. I have participated off and on since 2015 and have 7 rooms [and 6 challenges] under my belt.

FIVE // IN MY SEPHORA CART
One of my absolute favorite beauty products is finally back in stock! I wear the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter almost every day.
I add a couple swipes with the wand across my face and then blend in my foundation with it. It gives the prettiest glow from underneath giving an almost airbrushed look. I wear shade Medium. It has been out of stock for weeks so I’m thrilled to see it back – especially since I’m almost out!
The CT FF is back in stock at Nordstrom, too 😉
