Ok, I realize Easter has come and gone, but I couldn’t help but want to share these adorable little bunny cinnamon rolls I made for the boys last weekend. It was such a simple twist on a traditional cinnamon roll and the bunnies were big hits the second they came out of the oven. The frosting and sprinkles sealed the deal 😉 Here is my version of Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls!
I knew by the time Easter rolls around next year, I’d be disappointed for not sharing these little guys sooner! I’ve seen these cuties floating around Pinterest for years, but didn’t ever think to make them.
They really are so easy!
For more Easter ideas, you can see all of them here.
EASY EASTER BUNNY CINNAMON ROLLS
Just save this idea and file it away for things to do on Easter while your littles are still…little. Gosh, I can hardly stand the thought of the day that mine are no longer into these simple joys. Who knows, maybe I’ll be making bunny cinnamon rolls from now until I have grandkids!!!
For now, I’ll just plan on making them for my crew for as long as they’ll let me. And with a 2-year old, hopefully its several more years 😉
I think this would be a cute Easter Brunch idea for all ages!
HOW TO MAKE EASTER BUNNY CINNAMON ROLLS
First, you’ll start with a roll of packaged cinnamon rolls. I used Pillsbury Grands, so ended up with 5 bunnies.
Unroll the roll and cut off about a 6 inch section. Loop it into a heart which will be your “bunny ears” and then pinch it together at the base.
Gaaahh this step alone would be sweet to do for Valentine’s Day, too!
Next, attach the ears to what’s left over of the roll [the head or body] by pinching the dough together at the joints [ears and head] to form one solid bunny.
Bake in the oven following the package’s instructions.
Add frosting and sprinkles and serve to your littles over Easter weekend!
Aren’t these so fun?!! I didn’t originally plan to add sprinkles, but when I thought of the idea, I knew it would make them that much cuter!!
I definitely plan to make these easy Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls next year for my guys again!
