I love putting boards together for various holidays or even just filled with munchies for the kids when we are hosting family & friends. I pull out my favorite board and load it up with goodies for everyone to snack on. A themed board is always so much fun to put together and I especially enjoy a festive holiday board! Today I’m sharing the details on a Christmas-y board perfect for entertaining. A HOLIDAY GRAZING BOARD THE WHOLE FAMILY WILL LOVE

There is certainly something for everyone on this Christmas-themed charcuterie board. I even included some of our favorite appetizers on this board – my Christmas Pinwheels & Classic Guacamole. I added paprika for a touch of red, but cayenne or chili powder would be a great idea too, if you want to bring the heat.

To make this holiday grazing board, I simply rounded up the following ingredients [many of which are pretty random, but that’s what makes it awesome!]

ITEMS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR HOLIDAY GRAZING BOARD

• A board [I love this one] & a few small bowls [mine are from Crate & Barrel]
• cranberry goat cheese log
• pita chips
• colored Christmas tree tortilla chips
• wheat thins
• guacamole
• Christmas pinwheels [get my recipe here]
• pitted dates [leftover from the package after the Bacon Wrapped Dates I make as an appetizer on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day]
• Christmas cookies
• chocolate covered pretzels
• holiday m&ms
• craisins
• candy canes
• frozen cranberries & rosemary sprigs as garnish

*Anything festive or just your favorite holiday goodies works! Or you can go all in with red, white & green for a colorful spread! The options are limitless.

HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A GRAZING BOARD FOR THE HOLIDAYS

I always start by placing a handful of something in the four corners and middle. If you’re going to use small bowls or ramekins, get those in position first and then start making your piles around them. 

You really can’t mess this thing up!

I actually like when it is a little more loose and organic versus perfectly positioned and neat. That’s just my personal opinion though. Make your grazing or snack boards however you want!

This wooden board with gold handles is the perfect platter to use to serve an array of foods. Its a great size, has a slight lip around the edge to keep your items from falling off and the handles make it easy to carry over to the table or transport to your host’s party.

I just use press’n’seal on the board if I am taking it somewhere!
