Hiii! Happy almost April! I’m popping in to chat with you guys one last time this month! Plus it’s been a little while since one of our Friday visits đ Here is The Friday Five!
If youâve missed any past posts in the Friday Five series you can get caught up here.
THE FRIDAY FIVE
ONE // A PRETTY SPRING TOP
With so many colors to choose from! I was in Cincinnati last weekend for my cousin’s wedding and wore this one night out when she hosted friends and family at Revel OTR Urban Winery.
This bright one-shoulder number looks great with white jeans and nude heels. I grabbed a denim jacket since it was cold and rainy!
This top has a sheer mesh balloon sleeve with ruching in front and gathered ruching down the middle of the back. It’s actually a bodysuit and it’s really pretty in person! I’m wearing a size small.
bodysuit // jeans [similar] // nude heels // tube bracelet stack
I also love this color!!
TWO // SPRING WEDDING SEASON
I know so many people jumping into wedding season right now, so thought I would reshare my Spring Wedding Guest Dresses post.
The pink one on the bottom right is the one I ended up going with for the Cincy wedding and I received a ton of compliments. The color is gorgeous for Spring [and Summer!]
I’m wearing a size small in the dress and I’ll share more soon.
THREE // DAISY JONES & THE SIX: A MUST [READ &] WATCH
Have you watched it yet?! I read Taylor Jenkins Reid’s, Daisy Jones & the Six last year and was delighted to hear they were turning it into a TV series on Amazon Prime Video. I just wrapped up the final episode [one season, 10 episodes] this week and am finding myself with the songs playing over and over in my head. It. was. so. good.
The acting was incredible and followed the book’s storyline very closely. Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Kiley Keough plays the part of Daisy Jones and her voice is incredible. They actually recorded an entire album [or 2?] of this fictional band’s songs and I may or may not have played “Look at Us Now” on repeat last night.
I highly, highly recommend both the book and the show. I loved it so much!!
FOUR // EASTER BASKETS TO GET YOUR KIDS’ GOODIES READY THIS WEEK!
I shared this Easter Basket idea round-up a couple of weeks ago, but if you’re like me, now it’s time to step on the gas and get everything finalized [or started]. Rarely am I super early to get gifts bought or baskets put together, but with about a week left, I’d say now is the time for me to finally get going!
In their baskets, I like to put cute & practical things like books, swim trunks, sunglasses, slippers, sandals, etc. in addition to the candy!
I didn’t put together an updated gift basket gift guide this year, but most of the items in this Easter Basket Gift Guide for All Ages are still available!! and on prime!
FIVE // AN EASTER CANDY BOARD IDEA
While we’re on the topic of Easter, I thought I would share last year’s Easter Candy Board with you again! I hosted Easter late after / early evening last year and decided to round up all the candy from the boys’ baskets, eggs and around the house. I put it out to get everyone to finish it once and for all!
The adults nibbled at the board too and then it was all gone by the time everyone left that night and I wasn’t stuck with all of the post-holiday candy. You know, the stuff that seems to linger for weeks until you throw it all out?!
Since tomorrow is April 1st, be sure to grab this “Hello, April” free printable art print. You can download, print and pop into a frame if you’re looking for a little something to add to your Spring decor!
The Spring One Room Challenge starts next week and I’m still not sure if I’m participating or not!! Stay tuned to see if I end up jumping in the chaos đ
Have a great weekend, girls!
