What I Packed & Wore in Maui // Family Vacation over Spring Break
everything linked here!
In case you missed it, our family traveled to Maui over Spring Break in March. My parents gifted the trip to all of us at Christmas, so it was a highly anticipated vacation. As a teenager, I visited the Big Island and Maui and actually stayed at the same property, The Grand Wailea, where we recently stayed, so it was fun to experience it as an adult with my own family!
T and I went to Maui in 2017, but this was the first time to Hawaii for the boys. Needless to say, we had an incredible trip! I plan to share more details on the property, where we ate, and what we did, but I’ll start with the clothes!
I shared almost everything I wore while in Maui on Instagram and I have a highlight bubble on my profile if you want to see more!
Now here are the outfit details for my blog-reading gals!
SWIMSUIT & COVER-UP LOOKS
SWIM STYLE NUMBER ONE // TROPICAL STATEMENT SUIT & SARONG SET
I always love a statement swimsuit, especially on vacation! I found this gorgeous swimsuit & sarong set [I did a medium] in vibrant colors and knew I had to bring it to Maui with me!
swimsuit & sarong set // waterproof glitter bangles // hat // hair clip // clam shell & starfish earrings // tropical charm necklace // sunglasses
How fun is that red flower?!

Tons of compliments on this one! It probably won’t be your everyday throw-on-and-go suit, but how fun for a tropical vacation?!

I shared this same look in this post here, but I added this sparkly cowboy hat for a twist! The shimmer and shine is so, so pretty in the sun!
UPDATE! I heard there was a rhinestone cowboy hat look for less here! This dupe is $15 and mine was $60! Grab it before everyone finds out!!!

We had a fabulous day on the water with Sail Trilogy! I have a full report coming later this week to give you the full scoop on our catamaran & snorkeling excursion!

Lots of questions about this shirt! And yes, he busted it out again for the boat day in Maui!
He first *surprised me* on my 40th birthday by walking out to the table at brunch in Nashville wearing it! Everyone always asks where it’s from! He ordered it from here.

DINNER OUTFITS & DRESSES
DINNER OUTFIT NUMBER ONE // CASUAL SET FOR FIRST NIGHT
We landed mid-afternoon, so after we got to the property and checked in, we took a little time to explore before dinner. I changed into this easy & comfy two-piece button-down and short set for dinner onsite.
shorts & top set // sunglasses // blogk heel clear strap sandals // purse
You could absolutely wear it as a swim cover-up or wear the pieces separately!

DINNER OUTFIT NUMBER TWO // LUAU NIGHT!

This flowy dress was such a fun one! The front is smocked with a long tiered maxi bottom and then the back is open with 3 straps across. The drawstring waist ties at the back and you can make it as low as you want it. I cinched it up as tight as I could!
I’m in a size small and it was still pretty long even with a heel!
Comes in a ton of colors, but this coral option was so pretty!
I also wore this dress for beach family photos and linked up the boys’ shirts below too!
dress // statement charm necklace // tropical shirt
boys’ shirts // men’s linen shorts // boy’s linen shorts
DINNER OUTFIT NUMBER 3 // ADULT SUNSET DINNER @ WAILEA GOLF CLUB
dress // shoes
The colors of this dress are gorgeous! They matched the flowers and the sunset that night. I am in a size small, but would say to size up if in between or are larger-chested.

DINNER OUTFIT NUMBER 4 // CASUAL ROMPER
DINNER OUTFIT NUMBER 5 // HAPPY HOUR @ FOUR SEASONS + DINNER @ HA
I did a small in this strapless midi dress. I loved the blue-green abstract print, but it comes in other colors too!
dress // necklace // heels // purse // sunglasses
When your husband actually wears the set you found him! He’s in a size large.
